It's honestly a powerful machine for what it is, for pickleball. For the price, the machine is quite strong and has quite a few settings. Given I'm using it inside, I only tried it plugged in, but it does have a batter option that I didn't try. It was quite easy to use plugged in and as a hack, if you put it on a power switch, you can toggle it on and off easily. I wish there was a remote to trigger it, but that works for now! I had read reviews that it wasn't powerful enough, but for pickleball, it is plenty powerful. It's quite useful for me to fix swing mechanics. If you're only using it to get reps, it is probably more for beginners since the balls aren't coming with crazy pace (again keep in mind the price of the machine), but as a way to fix poor footwork and mechanics, it is fantastic. I use a video recording to watch myself hit the ball, the ball comes to mostly the same place every time and I can live change my stance and swing path to fix mechanics that are normally hard to fix.

Fun little machine my kids use to hit balls in the back yard. It works pretty well for what it is. It doesn't throw the ball too far or too hard but it does its job to let my kids practice hitting balls. I have not tried using it not plugged in so I don't really know about battery life. It is pretty light weight and my kids can haul it around pretty easy. It is made of plastic and seems pretty sturdy. My only complaint is the twisty rails that feed the ball into the machine is a little flimsy, comes apart pretty easy and is not the easiest to put together. That is my only real complaint. Overall, it is a pretty good product that lets my kids practice baseball on their own.

This is quite fun, my kids and I have enjoyed loading up and firing off tennis balls and taking turns swatting them into the yard. I'm sure others may want this for more serious practice, but it really speeds up the process. You can control the speed, height, etc, which is very helpful and adds some great functionality to the launcher. The color design looks a bit cartoonish, the plastic is thick, but seems to be functional and I expect it will last as long as we take good care of it. For the price, you'll have some choices but I think this one is reasonable value for the money. Overall, I am happy with this launcher, though I might try a different brand for my next purchase for comparison. 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. Yeah it’s super weak even on the highest setting. Like barely gets above the net kind of weak. You have to have it on the same side of the net as you or else it has a 50/50 shot of clearing the net if you place it just perfectly for the apex.

This Furlihong 4 in 1 pitching machine is a flexible practice ball machine pickleball and tennis players. I did not use the machine for baseball or cricket. This machine is definitely for beginners and kids. The Furlihong machine has 4 speed adjustments which basically controls the speed and distance the ball is projected from the machine. The machine also has 3 height stand adjustments on the bottom of the machine. Each height adjustment tilts the machine upward by 1-1/2". Level 1 is flat; level 2 is titled upward by 1-1/2" while level 3 is upward by 3". Setting the machine's power level to 4 and setting the adjustable stand up to the 3rd level will get you soft tossed tennis balls able to cross over a net to a waiting and willing beginning tennis player. The machine will load a maximum of 18 tennis balls. So, one can chase down tennis balls and try to keep the machine loaded while the beginner player practices their swing by hitting tennis balls. The base of the Furlihong machine does oscillate. It is a completely separate switch on the very base of the machine. As the beginning player learns their strokes, one can then introduce to the beginning player the need to move to the ball with the "auto swing" (oscillating) function. This is a very useful aid for the beginning player. The Furlihong 4 in 1 pitching machine is a useful learning tool for beginning players. The lower speeds aren't really useful for practicing tennis as the ball isn't projected high enough to cross over the net. For practicing tennis, one will need to use the top speeds and to adjust the machine height upwards. Also, the maximum load is 18 tennis balls which can be used up quickly (it takes less than one minute for 18 balls). So, one will need to be ready to shag balls to keep the machine loaded. Machine assembly was easy and straight forward.
