Someone said this stand is/feels very close to the floor. It is closer to the ground than the typical stand, but I didn't find it to be as low as other reviews made it seem. I can sit in my lounge chair or on my bed and see it just fine; it's not like you're looking down on the floor, but this might be different for smaller TVs. I like having the additional shelf, which can comfortably fit a gaming console, DVD/blue ray player, etc. I also saw some reviews expressing concern about 50 inch TVs fitting, and I have a 2022 Fire TV 50" and there is a slight amount of room left on each side of the TV. This item is very decent for its low price point. It was able to fit my 50" TV with an inch or two of leftover space on the stands. The TV screen was slightly sticking out and protruding but the stands fit fine. It is very easy to assemble, and it does not even require a screwdriver. Listen, this ain't exactly high-end furniture we're looking at here. But what it is is an affordable, simply designed tv stand, that doesn't try to be more than it should be. No fancy doors, angles, etc. It took 5 min to build (if that), and looks nice enough that you'd don't have to think about it, which was the goal. The finish on it is fine, the shelves themselves have a decent heft of sturdiness to them, and the columns are a dense plastic. So assuming you don't try to stand on it, it should hold up to normal wear and tear (i.e. holding a flat screen TV). Sometimes, all you need is something simple, clean, and affordable. I'm a real klutz when it comes to putting things together. If it's supposed to take an hour, I need three. I had NO problems putting it together, and it didn't take long at all. The shelves are smaller than I expected, so they don't fit much, but it's more than adequate to hold the TV.

Really did not require any tools except a pair of scissors to cut open the box. Has a good weight and looks really nice. It is rather short so just check dimensions first. Works for me though.

We're laughing because it's like dollhouse furniture. I was so focused on the width fitting our TV that I didn't think to be concerned with the highth. I regret that part, but, the assembly is easy. The posts are plastic tubes that screw in and the other pieces are faux wood. Although I wish it wasn't like baby furniture, it'll do. Just make sure to understand it's pretty short. ... show more
