I bought 5 of these to create a bookshelf wall. The first 4 units were easy to assemble. All parts included (no extras) and the material was clean, straight, and undamaged. All holes aligned perfectly. Until the 5th unit. Yikes. One broken screw could not be used and I didn't have the same size at home so had to figure most strategic place to miss a screw. Then the stabilizing bolt lock broke. I'm not that strong but it just shattered. Then I noticed a big scratch in the bottom support piece which of course was on the front facing side. Bummer. 4 out of 5 were stellar and my bookshelf wall looks amazing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Shelves are good size and fits nicely behind my door on its side as intended with the knob clearing the top. Perfect for a wall mirror above. Few comments about assembly—- There are no spare parts. One of the screw heads was not cut properly so used a wrench to turn it in instead of a Philips. Make sure you put back pieces F in place as you assemble. And plan to see exposed screw heads because the heads do not recess into the boards and the included stickers would look ridiculous covering the screw heads, not to mention the shelves themselves are not white but more of a creamy white and the included stickers for the screw heads are bright white. Easy to assemble. My 8 year old helped. Bracket screw holes for the second to last step are not predrilled. Everything else fit very nicely, which was a pleasant surprise. Timing was about 40 minutes to put together. Beware of styrofoam. One or two pieces break into a million. Have a wet rag handy to help with the static effect. Easy enough for me to move myself as it isn’t too heavy. ... show more

I was surprised at the weight of this shelf - heavy! I put it together myself with a screwdriver (I can't find my drill). All the pieces fit perfectly and the pre-drilled holes all lined up (a definite plus!!). Purchased for use in my sewing room - I believe it will be perfect! Also, you can position it horizontally or vertically, depending upon your space. Sturdy. Appears to be ready to paint, if needed - finish isn't great and nicks easily. Not a biggie for me. I feel this was a great buy and I am happy!!! (I did look up assembly instructions online for just a bit of additional info) ... show more

The product quality, shipping, etc is totally fine so I don’t want to deduct a star for the seller. The measurements are correct, just my perception of those measurements was off. It really just doesn’t hold much for the amount of space it takes up. it’s very difficult to find any storage basket that would fit in any of these slots to maximize the space. I owned some but they only fit the width, not the depth or height. You can see that in my toddler’s closet I basically can only fit a few small shoes and the depth is about half of his small (and not very deep) dresser. ... show more

Nice bookshelf, good for smaller room. Less storage than I realized. The instructions are not very clear the first time putting it together took me about an hour I have another to put together but now that I have built 1 I don't think it will take me too long to build. It does seem very sturdy.
