I had a hard time by myself getting it up into my apartment so I would recommend two people for moving it. It took me about an hour to put together. The instructions were clear and none of the steps were difficult to follow. One thing that could be a con potentially is it doesn't come with any spare parts so if you lose a screw or other piece you'd be out of luck unless you have other spare bits in your home. The heat is pretty decent works for my apartment. I think it'd be fine in a house too it just wouldn't heat the whole house only the room it's in. Pretty good storage and sturdy. Overall happy with the purchase. Again one person can do it all but having two might be more helpful. ... show more

Setup was very easy. Best advice I can give is follow the instructions VERY CAREFULLY. It only took me 50min to set this up and I am very impressed with the heat that it puts out for the size. This TV stand is so pretty and heats up the room quickly. I like that after the room is warm, I can turn off the heat feature but leave the "fire" on. I had this on for quite a while and nothing on the shelves ever gor hot, so I'm not worried about damaging anything. I left the back off because there aren't holes for any wires. THE BOX IS VERY HEAVY! my beighjor helped me carry it in so I wouldn't worry about dropping it and breaking anything. Can quickly and easily be assembled with one person ... show more

It turned out to be just the size I needed. The shelves couldn't be put in because one side, the side of the fireplace didn't have the holes to hold the shelves but I just left them out leaving it just long openings. I am going to use it like that.

If you can't invest in something very expensive, this is an excellent product. This worked perfectly for what I needed. It's not difficult to assemble and it looks good. Delivery was very quick and careful. The only thing I didn't like was the very low feet, I replaced them with others and that made it much more valuable. I was hesitant to buy because of the assembly. But it is very well written and all the parts were labeled correctly. Took us 1 hour to put together. It’s a beautiful piece! Fireplace works well too.
