Large enough for two 70-75lb dogs to share comfortably. My almost 13 year old dog really enjoys the bed. Her arthritis has been really bothering her lately and we wanted a bed to provide her with as much comfort as possible, but be large enough for two dogs to share. We purchased the waterproof cover since she does have incontinence issues at times. Unfortunately, when we tried to take the original cover off to apply the water proof cover, the zipper broke all to pieces. I submitted a claim after I registered the product and they emailed me right away and said they would ship out a new cover in 24 hours. Hopefully the new cover will work out better. I wish they would let you register multiple products as I wanted to register the waterproof cover as well, but couldnโ€™t. Seconds after laying this bed out, my dog was very fascinated by the plush "rose" pattern. It looks and feels nice, but he immediately was drawn to gnaw on it (He hasn't chewed any other furniture, but does shred plush toys). Unfortunately it ripped instantly. He didn't continue to chew on it thankfully, but I was disappointed that it ripped so easily. I suspect some of the other cover options may be more durable and less alluring to bite. The bed itself seems nice. My dog is about 80lbs and the cushion supports him fully. He seems to like it, but often chooses to lay on the rug instead. It does slide, so you may want to consider a rug grip pad underneath it. I bought a second, cheaper pad for his crate (about half the price) and this one is significantly thicker - so I feel like it's a good value. ... show more

I have used this type dog bed for years in different sizes. My 15 year old min pin has disc issues in her neck and cant lay with her head totally flat, this bed solves that problem for her. My Pug & Boston terrier sleep better with their heads elevated & snore less. I have had this bed in sizes from Jumbo to medium and removing the cover to wash is super easy regardless of the size. Good product to use UNDERNEATH the top cover of your dog bed. Makes it so much easier to remove the outer cover to wash. This used by itself would not be durable as it would tear easily if the pup started chewing on it. Besides that, dogs don't like sleeping on plastic alone. That's not what this cover was designed to do. If your pup pees on his bed, though, it will protect the mattress underneath by keeping it from soaking through. Spot clean the water-resistant cover once you remove the top cover to wash in the washing machine. Works well for me! ... show more

Great mattress for our 200lb Mastiff. We will see how long it holds his weight. This is a huge bed. Actually fits all 3 of our Dogs. My only complaint is it does not come with a Liner over the foam support mattress. Had to purchase that separately for 30.00. We have to have a liner to protect from drool. ... show more

Very nice supportive cushion and such a beautiful jewel tone color! Not cheap, but the cover can be removed and washed. No, it is not chew proof but unless you make a bed from bricks, I don't think anything is safe from your pup if they are a chewer! Our Dog is 40 pounds about the size of a small Aussie Cattle Dog (ACD) and she can curl up or stretch our and be comfortable. Very firm support that conforms to your pups body heat. Spending a little more money on this bed was worth it. The memory foam is great, and the shape and length is perfect or my greyhound. I purchased the waterproof liner that matches this style, just for extra protection. My dog isn't a chewer, but the material looks like it wouldn't be easy for a dog to tear through (unless you have a dog that is strong enough to rip seams).
