Description

The Furhaven Indoor/Outdoor Pop Up Playpent Pet Tent allows pets to play in a contained area; features removable top, 360-degree open-mesh view, and zippered side entrance. The pet playpen keeps your pets safely with you while at the park, beach, and inside or outside your home. Easy-open, pop-up assembly and ground stakes for a safe, secure play area. Playpen folds back easily into the included carry bag. Large open-air mesh screened windows provide deluxe 360-degree view, and lots of fresh air. Top is fully zippered and removable, and the six side-panels form a circular shape. A large zippered side-panel entrance has a fabric tie-up letting pets easily enter and exit. IMPORTANT: DO NOT leave pet unattended while in use. This product is for short-term containment only, NOT a kennel or a crate. Only use on flat, level surface; if included stakes are not used with product, interior weights are suggested to help prevent shifting by larger or more active animals. This pet playpen turned out to be a lifesaver for me. One of my older cats was dealing with some serious health issues that needed to be treated over a short period of time. I had to give her oral medications three times a day. Because she is notorious for disappearing when it’s time for vet visits or meds, I needed a way to keep her confined so I could keep her on a schedule for the meds. I got the large size because I wanted to make sure there was plenty of room for a litter box plus food and water bowls. Glad I got this one. It was exactly the right size. I really liked that there were two entry ways into the playpen - a side zippered doorway and the top zippered flap, which can be unzippered all the way around the top of the playpen. I mostly used the top flap to take her in and out of the playpen, and it was much easier for me to use the top flap when cleaning the litter box and food/water bowls. Kitty wasn’t exactly thrilled to be couped up in the playpen, but the netted sides gave her a full view of the room so she could see everything going on. I also think the netting is quite durable. When I first placed kitty in the playpen, she went nuts and bounced off all the sidewalls, thinking she could get out. But the netting held firm and no damage done. The playpen opened up easily, but there was a bit of a trick to folding it back up. Took me a couple of tries, but finally got it folded down and placed back in its carrying bag. I actually looked back online at the video to see how to fold the playpen, and that was a huge help. All in all, I’m very happy with the playpen and how well it worked. ... show more

I purchased this in the anticipation of adopting a kitten and wanting to have something that wasn't a cage to keep the baby in during the night or as my two adult cats adjusted to their new sibling. Unfortunately, my chosen kitten didn't make it, but I did end up fostering another kitten for a few weeks and this was the best thing ever to have. The little guy was very little, so this looked massive for him. There was plenty of room to have a litterbox for him, a little food/water station, a bed and toys to play with. I would pack this whole deal up every morning and take it to work and set it up, and then take it home. It was amazing to have, especially when I was busy running around my office, I knew the baby was safe and contained, I could see him at any point, and he could see me. It was also great to have the zipper opening on the top so if I felt having some kitten snuggles, or needed to fix something on the inside, I could easily access it without having to get on the floor and try to maneuver my way around. This worked great at my house with my two adult cats as well because they were able to observe the kitten without feeling like the little one was encroaching on their territory. ... show more

My cat loves to go outside, but she cannot be trusted as she has found an escape route through our fence. We bought this hoping she would not be scared of it. We set it up in the house first so she could get used to going in/out. Once she was comfortable with it, we placed it outside and she can run in/out of it as she pleases. She loves it! She begs at the door to be let out and runs right into the tent. It folds up very easily into a storage bag, no set up is required. She has scratched the bottoms/sides of the tent and did not puncture any holes. It is sturdy. It comes with pegs to put in the ground if you live where it is windy. We live in Iowa where the wind has blown. The tent can pick up and go if not attached. However, we love this! Thanks for making it safe for my cat to enjoy the outdoors. Good sized. Would also work for dogs and honestly kids ;) ... show more

Super nice I had no problem folding it. I couldn’t fold it the way they delivered it but I folded it and it was still easy to carry. Plus, it was a really good size. I think I got the small and it was very roomy I take it to with me to the pool and put my Italian greyhound in it and he’s got plenty of room and then it’s just folds up pretty easy like maybe the size little bigger than a pizza box when I fold it I could never get it back in that bag but that’s not that big of a deal. It’s lightweight and it’s still foldable. Totally worth the money 110%. ... show more
