this came in a large plastic envelope....that should have been a clue to the poor quality, but I put it together anyhow. It will last maybe a month. thin, flimsy, the animals don't like it. While the item was easy to assemble, (it simply popped up....) It was also basically made of CARDBOARD covered in fabric. The door was WAY too small for my dog, who is a Yorkshire terrier, so a very small boi. This is supposed to be an OTTOMAN, but I couldn't put my feet on it without it bowing in. Bought this product thought it would be cozy and dark for my winnie dog. She always sleeps under my office desk. But turned out she doesnt like to stay inside the cave. Instead my cat took over and slept all day inside. The product arrived exactly like on the website. It is super easy to install.

My cats love their new cat house and it serves a dual purpose as both a hidey-hole for them and a foot ottoman for us humans in front of our love seat. It came in a flat plastic package, which as soon as I cut it open, I popped the ottoman walls up, put the faux fur-lined flooring down, set the lid on top and it was ready to go! The walls are not super sturdy, so I definitely wouldn't recommend letting kids jump on it or a heavy adult sitting on it for too long, but it's great as an footstool and my ten year old (who weighs about 70 lbs) sits on it and plays with the cats. One question I had before I ordered it, was what is the actual color of "Ocean Blue"? I received several answers from other owners and the store owner. Some said it was more like a denim blue and only a few said closer to turquoise. I was actually looking for something that was more aqua blue in color, so I took a chance and I'm glad I did. I can tell you this is definitely not denim (cornflower blue), like some of the pictures appear to show. It is in fact a bright turquoise blue color, which I wish was a little more muted, but over all it serves it's purpose and blends well enough with the other teal and aqua accents in the room. ... show more

This is more than perfect in a sense of what I was looking for. I wanted to find a little dog house bed for my pug that wasnt obnoxious to look at and she'd fit in. She's an average sized pug but all the little cave houses I could find were either way to small (usually for cats) or a fortune. But I was determined to find one suitable. She loves being in small spaces and sleeping under blankets so I thought it'd b cute to buy her a little indoor dog house. I initially ordered the smaller size but she wasn't interested so I instantly ordered the bigger size and it was perfect ! The bed insert is really soft and it's adorable to see her go in it for a comfort zone. The only thing is the door on the big one is smaller than the doorway on the smaller one. This item was just what our little guy needed! We moved recently and our little fella seemed unsettled and was sleeping in the hallway outside our room. This item seemed simple and affordable and I loved that they offer a 30 day refund policy. It arrives flat-packed and you just zip the two halves together which is convenient. I excitedly put it in the hallway spot he’d been sleeping and tried to keep my expectations low. He immediately ran into it but ignored it the rest of the day, but when I woke up the next day he was curled up inside! I find him inside every morning when I wake up and I think the big blue kitty head is hilarious. When guests visit it always illicits a chuckle. The felt material is easy to lint roll and it’s deeper than it looks. The instructions recommend adding a familiar blankie/ cozy which I also did, or you could probably give it a spritz of feliway or other calming hormone. 4 paws up from Guinness! ... show more
