My cat absolutely loves this cat tree. I researched recommendations and reviews of well over 50 cat trees on several different web sites before finally deciding to purchase the Furhaven pet cat tree double decker playground. Before I buy something, I read the negative reviews first before I consider purchasing a product. Then I check out the positive reviews. From what I read, the one star reviews for this cat tree either had a problem with broken parts during shipping, or they complained a specific part was too small. My cat tree came without any defective parts, very detailed instructions, and was super easy to put together. The manufacturer clearly lists all the dimensions of this cat tree, and they are accurate. Contrary to the person who complained the platforms were too small and only 6x6, the platforms are as stated by the manufacturer- the top two platforms are just shy of 10x10 inches. I have a very active 3 year old rescue cat, she weighs 10 lbs and does not like tight, enclosed small spaces. She is an indoor only cat and is not declawed. I bought this tree with the expectation she probably would not sleep in the hide-a-houses, but to my surprise, she actually curls up in the smallest one to nap the most! She likes to sit on the upper platform. [it is approximately five feet from the ground, the same height as the play box see photo] she enjoys looking down and watching me. The sisal posts seem to be put together well. She scratches them all the time and they are not showing any wear yet, it is close to two months now. [my first sisal scratching post from Walmart was breaking off and pulling apart before it was a month old.] My cat runs through the house and leaps onto the tree. I have it against the wall and so far it is very solid. I thought at first I might need a wall anchor, but it does not move nor wobble at all. I was surprised the first time I heard her climbing up the posts, I had to turn and watch her. She actually climbs up the posts like she was climbing a tree. I hide her mice on the platforms and inside the play box. She has fun finding them. She throws them out, then looks to me to pick them up and hide them again for her. I ran a twisty tie through the balls so she can batt them without them coming out, unless she pulls them out by the twisty ties. The distance/space between the various levels to me seems to be just about right, not too close nor too far apart. A leisurely reach for my cat when she comes down from the upper platforms. [see photo] This is my first cat tree. I did a lot of research before I purchased this climbing tree. So far it has exceeded my expectations. It seems well built with quality materials and is solid and sturdy.

It shipped/arrived way sooner than estimated, when I purchased it said 1 month until delivery, nope it was 1 week tops! The box was undamaged, everything was secure, & labeled, it also came with the 2 different sized Allen wrenches needed to assemble. Assembly took me & my 10yr old daughter maybe 30mins tops! I actually bought a 2nd 1 as a gift & they loved it as well. This is over 6ft tall! It has really big platforms so my cats can actually play & roll around without falling! They love the ball toys it comes with! I mean I could go on about how much all 3 love it! This is so safe, & sturdy! It has a HUGE BASE SO IT'S STURDY! It's not wiggly at the top as most of the Cat Condos get, I'm actually looking at getting a 2nd 1 for my kitchen just different design & can't wait for it to get here & review it as well! I can not speak to all of their Cat Condos but, this 1 is perfect, safe, looks good, easy to assemble, cats love it, it's easy to clean, very nice & not tacky, it matches everything! Oh & has 4 really good scratching posts! It literally is a steal & a great deal & it meets the different wants/needs of each cat!

The cat tree is easy to assemble and our 2 kittens took right to it and love it. The upper platforms are small and while my cats try to lay on them they really aren't big enough to sleep on. I took the ball holder thing off because, while it may never happen, we were worried a cat would get a paw stuck in one of the holes as they jumped off. This is probably more of a concern for a kitten than a full grown cat but nonetheless... It is sturdy and has held up well with two growing cats jumping and running up it constantly. It was a good price for what you get. If you want bigger platforms/etc you will pay for that but this did the trick for the cats to be able to climb and play.

Wow, is this thing sturdy! Not a cheaply made product at all. It looks nice, stands as tall as my fridge and my kitties have yet to manage to topple it over or tear anything up. Even my chunky, lazy boy loves climbing up to the top of this thing, and trust me-- he's about as lazy as cats get. It took me about 45 mins to put it together and that was with realizing halfway thru that I had used the wrong size posts on the bottom tier and having to tear it down again lol check the post sizes in the instructions carefully and save yourself the minor headache! My only issue was the frayed rope toy. Within minutes of getting to play on their new tower, one of my cats had managed to pull a loose thread out of the rope and get it stuck in her mouth. Totally freaked her out; she went nuts! I had to hold the poor baby by her scruff and fish it out for her.... and then she went right back to playing with it lol I pulled at the rope threads to get rid of the loose ones and haven't had a problem since. If you're looking for a good kitty tree, get this one! Your furbabies will love it!! Update: My cats love batting at the thin, plastic balls with the bell inside of them that are in the busy box but the idea is supposed to be that they find a way to get the ball out and they get to chase it around on the floor after. I didn't mind at all having to put the balls back in. I do mind, however, finding one of the balls had hit the floor (we have tile) and shattered, leaving my cat to bat around the tiny little jingley choke hazard. After the rope incident, and then having the ball shatter, I had to take off a star. I will be getting sturdier ones at the local pet store to replace the two balls it came with. Overall, though, I still highly recommend getting this tree if you're looking for one! Just... imo, check out the rope before they play with it and consider replacing the balls...

my cat and I are in love with this. it’s his heaven. he’s OBSESSED with the “IQ box” with the balls. actually, as i look at it, i’m realizing my cats just really obsessed with the whole thing. the swingy ball, the ball on the spring, the rope in the middle. he even loves to sleep inside the smaller box! the mouse that was included was history before i even set the tower up, my cat ripped the string it was on after like 3 minutes of me taking it out of the box which was kind of a bummer, but honestly i was grateful that he had something to play with that kept him out of my way for a little bit while i put the whole thing together. now he plays with the mouse like a regular toy, so it worked out anyway! he’s about 11 pounds and jumps full speed on this and it never falls, it wobbles a little bit when he runs full force at it, but for me it’s a 10/10 on sturdiness. And also i have a dog that loves my cat but unfortunately the cat despises the dog, so he loves to take refuge away from the dog on his little Cat Heaven tower lol. my only complaint would be that the balls in the IQ box are too small for the holes, my cat immediately throws them right through the hole onto the hardwood floors. if the side holes were a little smaller so the balls didn’t easily fit through, this would be a dream come true.

We just put this together today, but I already have plenty to say, much of which I documented with photos. Our kitten is loving it. He has been using the scratching posts, hanging ball, and busy box. He chewed the mouse off the string before I even assembled the base. He loves flossing, apparently, because he has done that to two other toys before. I just tied the string back together and it is working for now. I’m considering switching the hanging ball and spring ball because he is a little scared being up that high on such a small platform. It may help to put the hanging ball on the top and the spring ball lower. The balls in the busy box are too easy to swat out, and we have it on a tile floor, so it was a game of fetch (me fetching balls and putting them back in the box) for a while and then one of the balls cracked. I am fortunate to have a crafty wife who crocheted a cover for one of the balls, but it was too thick to go back into the box. So I cut up another toy he had already destroyed and sewed the fabric over the other ball, and he’s still struggling to get that ball out. I’m planning on getting more balls for it and putting cloth covers on them, as well. It’s very tall and narrow, so I do anticipate having to anchor it eventually. Our kitten is still very small, but I could see a large cat knocking it over.

We got this in April of 2020 and we love it! I have 2 full grown cats and one still has her front claws. She goes to town on the scratching posts - as you can see in the pics! But we've only recently seen them start to fall off so in a few months we'll just replace that rope part. It took less than 20 mins to setup on my own and it's very sturdy in my opinion but we do have it in a corner so that could be part of why. They love to sleep in it, play with the toys and use the posts. The only downside is that even with regular cleaning it traps quite a lot of fur in it so at any given point you can walk right up and pull chunks of fur out (like pictured). However, at least that fur isn't floating in the air or on the carpet and fur is a part of being a cat owner anyways! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cat whether you have one or multiple, kittens or cats!

I will say that it is definitely worth it to get a tall cat tree such as this, and this was about the best tall one I could find that was reasonably priced. Only one of the TWO rooms is big enough for either of my medium sized cats (6 and 7 lbs) to lie down in - see picture attached. So when they lie down in the top room, they end up lying half in - half out which is probably uncomfortable because the entrance to the room has a threshold that rises an inch above the floor. There are tall perches that my cats seldom use because they are not wide enough for them to feel completely safe - again I do not have big cats. One of these perches should instead be a big room. Also the fuzzy spring ball on the top perch needs to be secured better. On day two my cats ripped it out, stripping the thread so that it will no longer screw in. The base should be a room as well On an up note there are ten scratching posts which my cats use regularly. I've had the tree for a month, and my cats still use it daily.
