It shipped/arrived way sooner than estimated, when I purchased it said 1 month until delivery, nope it was 1 week tops! The box was undamaged, everything was secure, & labeled, it also came with the 2 different sized Allen wrenches needed to assemble. Assembly took me & my 10yr old daughter maybe 30mins tops! I actually bought a 2nd 1 as a gift & they loved it as well. This is over 6ft tall! It has really big platforms so my cats can actually play & roll around without falling! They love the ball toys it comes with! I mean I could go on about how much all 3 love it! This is so safe, & sturdy! It has a HUGE BASE SO IT'S STURDY! It's not wiggly at the top as most of the Cat Condos get, I'm actually looking at getting a 2nd 1 for my kitchen just different design & can't wait for it to get here & review it as well! I can not speak to all of their Cat Condos but, this 1 is perfect, safe, looks good, easy to assemble, cats love it, it's easy to clean, very nice & not tacky, it matches everything! Oh & has 4 really good scratching posts! It literally is a steal & a great deal & it meets the different wants/needs of each cat!

My cat absolutely loves this cat tree. I researched recommendations and reviews of well over 50 cat trees on several different web sites before finally deciding to purchase the Furhaven pet cat tree double decker playground. Before I buy something, I read the negative reviews first before I consider purchasing a product. Then I check out the positive reviews. From what I read, the one star reviews for this cat tree either had a problem with broken parts during shipping, or they complained a specific part was too small. My cat tree came without any defective parts, very detailed instructions, and was super easy to put together. The manufacturer clearly lists all the dimensions of this cat tree, and they are accurate. Contrary to the person who complained the platforms were too small and only 6x6, the platforms are as stated by the manufacturer- the top two platforms are just shy of 10x10 inches. I have a very active 3 year old rescue cat, she weighs 10 lbs and does not like tight, enclosed small spaces. She is an indoor only cat and is not declawed. I bought this tree with the expectation she probably would not sleep in the hide-a-houses, but to my surprise, she actually curls up in the smallest one to nap the most! She likes to sit on the upper platform. [it is approximately five feet from the ground, the same height as the play box see photo] she enjoys looking down and watching me. The sisal posts seem to be put together well. She scratches them all the time and they are not showing any wear yet, it is close to two months now. [my first sisal scratching post from Walmart was breaking off and pulling apart before it was a month old.] My cat runs through the house and leaps onto the tree. I have it against the wall and so far it is very solid. I thought at first I might need a wall anchor, but it does not move nor wobble at all. I was surprised the first time I heard her climbing up the posts, I had to turn and watch her. She actually climbs up the posts like she was climbing a tree. I hide her mice on the platforms and inside the play box. She has fun finding them. She throws them out, then looks to me to pick them up and hide them again for her. I ran a twisty tie through the balls so she can batt them without them coming out, unless she pulls them out by the twisty ties. The distance/space between the various levels to me seems to be just about right, not too close nor too far apart. A leisurely reach for my cat when she comes down from the upper platforms. [see photo] This is my first cat tree. I did a lot of research before I purchased this climbing tree. So far it has exceeded my expectations. It seems well built with quality materials and is solid and sturdy.

The cat tree is easy to assemble and our 2 kittens took right to it and love it. The upper platforms are small and while my cats try to lay on them they really aren't big enough to sleep on. I took the ball holder thing off because, while it may never happen, we were worried a cat would get a paw stuck in one of the holes as they jumped off. This is probably more of a concern for a kitten than a full grown cat but nonetheless... It is sturdy and has held up well with two growing cats jumping and running up it constantly. It was a good price for what you get. If you want bigger platforms/etc you will pay for that but this did the trick for the cats to be able to climb and play.

I purchased this FurHaven"Double Decker Playground" model cat tower for our four cats. It was to replace a slightly larger cat tower that had become decrepit because it was loved so much and used daily. We paid about $100 for the old one, so I believe the FurHaven is competitively priced. It comes in a marked box, so everyone will know what you are receiving. The instructions are easy to understand, step by step, with clearly marked parts. It was easy to put together and took me about 35 minutes unboxing to done. The only problem I had during installation was the last step where you have to attach the diagonal step by screwing in a bolt at the bottom directly below the diagonal piece where there is very little room to maneuver. It took a few minutes of fumbling to get the bolt in the hole at the proper angle and get it screwed in. This is just an example of the most difficult obstacle in assembly, and it wasn't a big deal, so I don't think you will have any trouble assembling it with one or two people (I assembled it solo.) Once put together, it was immediately attractive to my cats. They love the scratching posts, which I love that the sisal wrap goes all the way from the top to the bottom of the posts, instead of being only partially wrapped like they are in cheaper towers. There are multiple boxes to sleep in and toys to play with. Note that the one hanging ball in the middle has a metal bell in it. I've included some pictures of my cat enjoying the boxes. She's a normal-sized adult cat and she's pretty snug, but they like enclosed spaces so it works well for them. What doesn't work well for me, and the reason I deducted one star from my review, is the ball box at the top. The tower comes with some plastic balls that go into the cardboard box at the top via the holes all over. My cats were very interested in playing with the balls I put in the box but within the span of literally 10 seconds they had thrown the balls out of the tower and onto the hard floor which caused the balls to shatter. The holes in the box are larger than the balls, so they're easy to knock out. The hole at the top should be large enough to put the balls in, and the holes around the sides should be big enough for paws to go in but not get the balls out. Also, two of the balls I put in were so fragile that they broke upon hitting the floor the first few times. Overall, I and my cats are very pleased with the purchase of this FurHaven Double Decker Playground and although it isn't perfect, I would highly recommend it for anyone with a cat and space for it. 4/5 stars. We got this in April of 2020 and we love it! I have 2 full grown cats and one still has her front claws. She goes to town on the scratching posts - as you can see in the pics! But we've only recently seen them start to fall off so in a few months we'll just replace that rope part. It took less than 20 mins to setup on my own and it's very sturdy in my opinion but we do have it in a corner so that could be part of why. They love to sleep in it, play with the toys and use the posts. The only downside is that even with regular cleaning it traps quite a lot of fur in it so at any given point you can walk right up and pull chunks of fur out (like pictured). However, at least that fur isn't floating in the air or on the carpet and fur is a part of being a cat owner anyways! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cat whether you have one or multiple, kittens or cats!

No issues so far I’ve had this for about a month or two and it’s still in great shape. The cats love it and it’s held up surprisingly well for the price. It is a bit wobbly so we found its best to place it in a corner where it’s up against two walls or secure it to one wall using cheap L brackets from the hardware store. Not a dealbreaker for the price.

I will say that it is definitely worth it to get a tall cat tree such as this, and this was about the best tall one I could find that was reasonably priced. Only one of the TWO rooms is big enough for either of my medium sized cats (6 and 7 lbs) to lie down in - see picture attached. So when they lie down in the top room, they end up lying half in - half out which is probably uncomfortable because the entrance to the room has a threshold that rises an inch above the floor. There are tall perches that my cats seldom use because they are not wide enough for them to feel completely safe - again I do not have big cats. One of these perches should instead be a big room. Also the fuzzy spring ball on the top perch needs to be secured better. On day two my cats ripped it out, stripping the thread so that it will no longer screw in. The base should be a room as well On an up note there are ten scratching posts which my cats use regularly. I've had the tree for a month, and my cats still use it daily.
