I got these for my husband to take to work for extra energy. The ingredients are quality, low sugar content, yet a good amount of protein and nutrients. Also, having several flavors is great! Definitely will buy again!

I like the variety pack because you get to try all the flavors. I liked most of the flavors. I thought the ones with chocolate in them were good and very similar to other protein bars I’ve had in the past. I didn’t detect any strange flavors or weird aftertaste from the mushrooms. The only flavor I really didn’t like much was the vanilla chia. I thought it was a bit on the perfumey side, taste wise - it wasn’t terrible though I could still eat it fine. Some comments say these bars are dry but I didn’t think they were any drier than almost every other protein bar I’ve ever had. Overall, not bad taste wise and good if you are looking for the added benefits of the mushrooms.

I initially wrote the following review, with a 5-star rating: Gluten intolerant and vegetarian: These are beyond delicious. Not too sweet, great texture. And I do get a 'mushroom'energy-kick'. I'd buy more if they were somewhat cheaper. Wish they had a megabox. Will be trying other competitiors, however these are awesome. ADDING A WARNING They are all stated above, however, after having only the suggested amount, I started having issues sleeping. I'd wake up numerous times, and wake up at 2, staying awake until 4:30, then going back to sleep again until 7 - which is very late for me. I usually go to bed early, sleeps very well, and get up at around 5. It took me about three days of none of of these bars, and last night I slept like a log. SLEEP IS ESSENTIAL, CRUCIAL FOR BRAIN AND NEUROLOGICAL (overall) HEALTH - independently of what some people claim. Choosing between sleep or mushrooms is easy for me: SLEEP. Just wanted to provide this warning, important to be aware.

I was excited to try these bars, thinking they’d be the perfect blend of health and convenience. I’m pretty adventurous with trying new health foods. I ordered the variety pack and waited 4 weeks for them to arrive, which only built up my anticipation. Amazon generally spoils us with very quick shipping, but four weeks seemed excessively long. Sadly, the flavors are absolutely horrific—imagine a mushroom rubbed on a sweaty gym sock and then left in a compost bin to dry out for a day. I couldn’t even get through one bite of the flavors I tried. To add insult to injury, getting a refund isn’t easy either. There’s no straightforward option, so now I have to jump through hoops to even try to recover what feels like a complete waste of money. If you’re looking for a protein snack, save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere!
