I just started using these pens as a art medium. I am a painter but I got these to make preliminary painting and work out the problems before I get the canvas out and put the oils to work. So far they work fine they don't mix so you have to overlay and if you can put the paint on thick enough you can lighten it with white or darken with the color of your choice. Overall they are fun to use and not messy or fussy and you can knock out painting within a couple hours or so. ... show more

Pros: vibrant colors Easy to use Great color selection Comfortable to hold Cons: -Markers are not packaged the way the photos suggest. They're just all bunched in one box with seemingly no rhyme or reason. Thankfully I had a marker box to put them in. -colors are not individually marked, leaving you to guess which colors are what. And with the colors not in order on the box makes swatching (and therfore choosing colors as you paint) even more difficult. -The colors don't necessarily match the marker cap. -Especially for the glitter and metallic ones. And many of the caps are incredibly close in color making it even more difficult to tell them apart. -The colors listed on the box do not match the marker colors very well. One of the metallic colors didn't match any of the colors on the box, so I ended up just making my own color system for swatching. Neutral: Each marker is individually wrapped. While this is clearly so that the markers don't lose their caps in transit, it was kind of annoying and seems awfully wasteful. I swatched mine on acrylic 140lb-300 GSM paper. ... show more

Very pleasantly surprised by these pens. Primed easily, paint flow is good, no skips or jumps, colors are gorgeous. Definitely impressed and will buy again. Unsure if they dry out early or the nibs get mucked up, but so far, I recommend this product.

I splurged on these for a last minute art project. They worked great for rock painting. Very easy for the kids to use. They dried super fast. If they made a mistake they could just paint over it. There was no mess at all. Super easy clean up. Also used them for cup decorating, for those tumblers where you can put a picture inside. The cups came out so nice, way better than markers or crayons.
