FulltryCat Travel Journal for Writing (Skull-Bronze) Oh, WOW. I wanted to get this for my spouse, but I kept my hopes modest because...like...how can it be as pretty as that product picture? BUT IT IS. I got the golden skull and it is so gorgeous. The light catches and reflects and glows. The detail is amazing: the roses, the butterflies, the roses IN the skull eyes. There's even a raised rose on the back which is a wonderful touch: gorgeous but not so raised that the journal lays funny. The pages are beautiful, alternating between a clean crisp vanilla and a darker "aged" color. I want to buy all of these and they're easily worth twice the price. I love ornate notebooks, don't know why, I'm a terrible writer, pathetic poet and useless at prose. But I love this notebook, (and the several others I've acquired lately and will probably post very similar reviews for lol) It has a good weight to it, feels high quality and well made. I haven't written in it yet so cannot report on paper quality, ink bleeding etc. But, it is beautiful and would make a gorgeous gift for a budding poet. :-)

I wanted a notebook down in my kitchen as I found every time I needed to write something down, I had no paper. This notebook is really pretty and has plenty of pages. It alternates between a chunk of regular lined paper, then a chunk of antique-looking paper, then another chunk of regular paper, and so on. This comes with a pen, but I didn't like the weird shape of it, so I threw it away. Overall, for $17.90 (as of this review), this is a solid notebook/journal, and it would make a cute gift for someone who's into journaling.

A nicely embossed notebook that comes with high detail all around. If you want a statement notebook for a great gift for someone that is into heavy detail. This notebook has you covered. With its bronze shades of detail to its well-cleaned notebook pages. Even has vintage paper pages that are a mirror image of the regular pages. Corners of the notebook pages have a place for you to write down important dates. It also came with these different color labels to highlight your notes. lastly, the notebook also comes with a bookmark that is built in so you never lose your place when writing. If you are not into skulls they have other high detail notebooks to choose from.

I purchased this journal to write in myself, and I love the Dia de Los Muertos theme! I love that it has an attached pen, and I think it is a great gift idea for the person that has everything! The one thing I think is strange is that the one I purchased is called "Red" when really it is more of a copper color (which I think of as a variation on brown). Anyways, I recommend wholeheartedly, and think it makes a very cool gift!
