Bought this for my oldest who is upgrading from a twin sized bed. As mentioned in other comments , it will unroll upside down. When my husband and I opened it up, we flipped it before complete unrolling it so that it would expand right side up. After letting it inflate for two days, I can definitely say this is a really comfortable bed. It feels firm when you first lay down, but it does end up molding to your body. I have had scoliosis for over 20 years and although I’m only 36, I have gotten used to rolling out of the bed slowly every morning in pain. Let me tell you the VERY FIRST NIGHT I slept on this bed, I practically jumped out of bed PAIN-FREE!! The box it came in was nearly tall as me and verrrryy heavy. My husband took the vacuum-sealed mattress out, removed the plastic and it honestly had already fluffed out in 8-10hrs. My last mattress cost $1000….I will NEVER do that again since finding this jewel. FYI this is firm….not for those that like a plush pillow top kind of feel. ... show more

I am very impressed with this mattress. Definitely recommend it if you want a good quality mattress at an affordable price and the best part, it comes to your door in a box. It's very comfortable. Make sure you use the tool that comes with the mattress to open it and read the warning because the mattress will pop open with lots of force. I didn't read the warning and the mattress popped and hit me in the chest with so much force, I fell to the ground. Great purchase, you won't regret it. ... show more

I was really excited to try this mattress, but we ran into a few issues right away. First, it’s very heavy—even heavier than the mattress we were replacing—so definitely plan on having two people move it. It arrives compressed and includes a little safety cutter to open the plastic, which was a nice touch. One thing I wasn’t expecting was that when you unroll it, the pillow top is facing down, so we had to wrestle the entire mattress over after it expanded. It would’ve been much easier if it unrolled right-side up. The mattress itself is very thick and plush with a soft quilted top. Unfortunately, I noticed the top fabric snagged pretty easily while we were setting it up in our trailer and moving it. Our biggest issue was the sizing. We bought this for our RV. This mattress appears to be oversized, and our fitted queen sheet wouldn’t come close to fitting over the corners. Even compared to the mattress we removed, this one looks noticeably larger. I tried 3 different fitted sheets and nothing fit it. As far as comfort goes, I actually really like it. It has a good amount of firmness, so it’s supportive without feeling hard, and it doesn’t have that overly soft, sink-in feeling. It feels like a solid, well-built mattress, which makes sense given how heavy it is. I also didn’t notice much motion transfer—my partner moving around wasn’t very noticeable, which is a big plus if you share a bed. Overall, I think this mattress has a lot of potential if the size works for your space. Just be aware that if you’re using standard queen bedding—or especially if you’re putting it in an RV—it may not fit as expected. ... show more

I got this mattress for my mom who previously had a memory foam mattress that had sunken in. When I ordered this, I didn't actually expect a full hybrid with springs, but this is a true hybrid mattress! I was pleased to see it had a base of springs with a good sized memory foam topper. You get the support and longevity of the springs, and the comfortable & flexibility of the memory foam. I will be interested to see how the memory foam holds up over time. Even though it isn't a crazy thick layer, any memory foam can be subject to sinking, but I'm hoping that the springs provide enough upward support that holds most of the body weight, that the foam won't fall as prey to sinking. The mattress has great support for side and back sleepers. I can't quite speak to stomach speakers, but this was comfortable for my mom as a side sleeper. She continues to say she's sleeping well and doesn't have any back or hip pain. The mattress is very reasonably priced for what you get. I did let this mattress "air out" for about 3-4 days before placing it down on my mom's bed for her to use. I don't know how much that did or didn't help, as there isn't a frame of reference, but I do expect it gave time for all the materials to settle in place after being shrink wrapped for so long, making them more effective in the long run. Overall, very pleased with this mattress! I will continue to monitor the longevity of this mattress over time, but so far, after about a month, it seems to be a good quality. ... show more

Yikes - this mattress is the most firm mattress I've ever slept on. Sadly it was painful and didn't provide a lot of support. We threw it out after one night of testing it out and didn't think it will as a good value for the money.

I've purchased six bed-in-a-box mattresses over the past ten years. Only two of them have been slightly disappointing. This is one of them, but to be fair, it is also the least expensive. It is much more firm and comfortable than the mattress it is replacing, but the edges are not very supportive. It looks nicer than typical bargain bedding. It was quick and easy to unroll and didn't give the massive kick some do when inflating. The thicker mattress makes my sheets fit tighter and nicer. I really didn't notice any cooling properties. I works consider this for a kids bedroom or a guest room, but not for an adults everyday mattress. It's heavy and does require two people to handle. ... show more
