My teen daughter LOVES this loft bed with dinette under it! It holds 600 lbs on the top AND bottom, unlike the little kid bunk beds that look similar. The entire structure except for the bedroll (which has a metal beam under it) is METAL! Very sturdy! My daughter bought a 6" memory foam mattress and loves it! Could definitely be used in a dorm room. My daughter put full sized bed pillows against the wall on each dinette side and then she just stretches out to read and relax. I went in there today and we both used the table and hung out. The instructions weren't even bad! Extremely satisfied with this purchase! The price was phenomenal also. This was the ONLY set we could find that checked all the boxes.

This loft bed is pretty nice, especially for small spaces. Definitely takes 2 people to put together and probably would’ve taken less time, but wanted to teach my kid life skills. Between the 2 of us, it took us 3 hours. The most difficult part was the base/frame for the mattress, which is the first step. The little tubes roll and come out of the holes, but after that, as long as you have a drill with adapter, piece of cake. It does come with all tools necessary but would take longer. We had a bunkie board from my kid’s other bed, that we placed on top so there is no creaking or rolling of the bed support. We got a 5” mattress and fits like a charm. It’s pretty solid, and as seen in the pictures, A ROOM SAVER. Also, another challenging part to put on was the shelf over the desk, but not unachievable. It also comes with safety anchors to mount to the wall, and appears to have a couple extra holes so the steps can mount on either side. My kid has an 9x10 room, so works perfectly for extra space. Weight limit states 250lbs/113kg. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GET BOTH BOXES (2) UPON DELIVERY. We had to wait for an entire new shipment and ship the original box back, as just sending the second box from Amazon was not an option. Other than that, great value and if you can put ikea furniture together, you can do this, no problem.

This loft bed is really cute. The shelves and desk are good quality. It does seem that I’ve had to tighten the screws a few times now and the bed squeaks quite a bit. If you keep the screws tightened it’ll squeak less.

This fit our needs perfectly. Obviously not as nice as a $3000 piece but great for the price we paid. Assembly had some hard steps but is definitely doable with 2+ people. Hardest step is getting the 4th side on while trying to get all the poles in the right holes but I promise you can do it with patience and it helps to have more than two people for that one step. This bed is such a great size for smaller bedrooms. We were able to fit a nightstand and my sons hamster on the other end of the bed (opposite of the desk). There is some minor wobbling when moving around in the bed (like I said, this is not solid wood). But if my 6’0’’ son can use the bed then your kid probably can too. His toes hit the metal at the end of the bed when fully stretched out but he’s just tall. That happens on most beds.

This is our second loft bed. My 12 year old grew out of the last one because the loft portion was so low, the area underneath was just not functional. This bed is soooooo much better. The bed is all metal (except the under-mattress slats) which makes it super strong. I believe the 600 pound weight capability claim. The assembly was suprisingly easy, even for a home-improvement-challenged individual such as myself. However, it is HEAVY so assemble it as close to the final location as possible. I can sit at the table comfortably and have crawled around on the top bunk, so I could see this bed being used by a small/medium sized adult. The table could be a little larger, but that's a minor nit. I love that the lower portion is convertible to a bed, and that conversion couldn't be easier. The cushions on the bottom are very firm, so you probably want to get a mattress topper if someone is going to sleep there. My only complaint is that the ladder is not very comfortable to climb on. It is fully vertical with metal, round rungs compared to the old bed which had flat, wood rungs and hung at an angle. We wrapped the rungs in self-adhesive bandage wrap to make them grippier and softer, which helps a little. Because of the ladder, I would not recommend for super small kids who might fall when coming down the ladder.

I was worried this would be cheap, make a lot of noise. I was pleasantly surprised that it was none of those things. Daughter wanted a loft bed to have more space in her room. I wasn’t excited about buying another bed and with out seeing it first, this worked out perfect! It was not hard to assemble. Very sturdy. Size was just as stated. Good quality metal.

The media could not be loaded. We bought two of these loft beds and on both, the ladder does not reach the floor! It’s only connected at the top and is super wobbly. The table connects to the ladder and a cross bar on the back of the bed, but that is super flimsy as well, and it doesn’t help the wobbling at all
