This fit our needs perfectly. Obviously not as nice as a $3000 piece but great for the price we paid. Assembly had some hard steps but is definitely doable with 2+ people. Hardest step is getting the 4th side on while trying to get all the poles in the right holes but I promise you can do it with patience and it helps to have more than two people for that one step. This bed is such a great size for smaller bedrooms. We were able to fit a nightstand and my sons hamster on the other end of the bed (opposite of the desk). There is some minor wobbling when moving around in the bed (like I said, this is not solid wood). But if my 6’0’’ son can use the bed then your kid probably can too. His toes hit the metal at the end of the bed when fully stretched out but he’s just tall. That happens on most beds.

My sin loves this bed it is very stable very versatile perfect for the teen age years. If you have standard eight foot ceilings it doesnt give much space between bed and ceiling so need to buy the thinest mattress. Very hard for adults to make bed si he has to become responsible for that.

Building was easy to do… but not sturdy have to constantly tighten the screws all around the bed. 2nd day the ladder step snapped in half while my son was going up bare foot. Not entirely impressed. The top shelf under it junk. Came damaged both shelves

The idea is nice, execution... not so nice. Just buy an elevated bed frame unlike this one it's not bad but there's better pricing for this kind of product. It can also be pretty creaky and my own personal experience putting together the frame some of the screws were stripped. *Put the bed frame together in February 2025*

SPOILER ALERT: There were vital missing pieces. Yeaaaa.... I recently purchased and assembled this bed. Assembly was quite manageable with two people and the directions were clear. Per the instructions, be sure to only tighten the components about 80% to ensure that everything fits well before tightening to 100%. It's in the instructions, but for those who struggled to assemble, I would imagine this was the detail that was overlooked. The bed is pretty solidly constructed! Mom stamp of approval here! The only snag I hit was missing pieces. The bed requires four cross bars that screw into the loft's upper frame (Part #7). These cross bars are used in addition to 16 cross bars that are not screwed in (Part #8). The #7s basically fortify the entire loft. I received twenty #8s and no #7s. Bummer. The solution was to purchase another bed, from which I would pull the parts, then return the remaining parts to Amazon, which I will NOT be doing. The remains are just going to be dumped on Amazon's "Trash Island," and I won't contribute to that. I am going to fill the ends with some kind of epoxy and make it work (or just weld it), but no mom should have to do that. Or any parent for that matter. I'm kicking myself for not checking everything before starting, which is best practice. I just got really excited to surprise my kid... who is going to be sleeping on a mattress on the floor tonight. Learn from me lol.

Went together very nicely. First thing I have put together recently where everything lined up well and the instructions made sense. All parts were labeled appropriately also. The faux wood looks very nice. Bought for my 11 y/o son and he loves it!

It creaks constantly no matter how often we tighten the bolts. The stairs come undone frequently and have to be continually retightened just so the ladder is safe. And yesterday the shelf broke. It was not overloaded and our kid weighs half the weight limit. It's very disappointing as we have had it for less than a year. I have contacted customer service but have not received a reply.
