I've had this violin for over 5 months now and it is honestly a great beginners violin. The strings did come unattached so be sure to have someone with you that help you get them attached to the violin and teach you how to tune. Also peg drops help a lot. But all in all for a first time violin (especially if you're unsure if you WANT to learn at first) this is a great instrument.

Feels cheap, and it came with all the strings broken and the pegs were broken too. I fixed it and now the strings are broken again and i haven’t even touched it..

The first violin came with a broken string. However, I contacted the seller and they were very responsive, helpful, and sent us a new violin! My son is thrilled. This is a good violin for a beginner and better quality than some others we have seen.

Product looks like it would be great for beginners but has many quality issues. The neck and tunnel are poorly made and don't hold a tune as the strings come lose rather easily and fast. Would not recommend this item.

I'm only a beginner and I got this violin to learn the basics on. I reasoned that I wanted to start out with a cheaper violin, so I wouldn't feel nervous. Now, I did have two strings snap when tuning. I replaced them pretty cheaply. The rosin that came with the violin was good and useable. The violin doesn't come with a shoulder rest, which is very handy to have, but for the price, I'm not complaining. The sound is very good and not what I expected! This is a good violin for those like me who are simply starting out.

We purchased this as a prop for a wedding ceremony story. Beautiful and perfect for what we needed it for. I can’t say if it’s a great sounding violin because we did not use it as what it’s made for.

I realize this is a cheap violin, but I expected it to be useable. The body is fine. The strings were slapped on hurriedly with one string bent at an odd angle. The bridge was improperly made so that it would not stay in place when I tried to tune the violin. I finally took it to a violin shop to have it expertly repaired & tuned. Now it sounds like the beautiful instrument I expected it to be. My next violin will be purchased from the shop that fixed this one.
