This is a great bunkbed. We bought the full over full with twin trundle. Be aware that there is a wood support beam that runs under the top bunk. Both my kids hit there head on it right away. HACK: We bought tube insulation with adhesive and put it over the beam for padding then took a full flat sheet and pulled it up under the top bunk slats before screwing them down. There is now no dangerous wood visible under the top bunk. Pros: Compact it's not any longer or wider then our single full bed just taller. Easy assembly very well labeled but only pictures so we had a couple of times we had to switch pieces around. Sturdy which means the boxes are very heavy. I put most of it together at 6 months pregnant but did need my hubby's help at times for balancing and lifting. So easy my 5 year old daughter was able to help with a lot of the screws. Looks beautiful if you like traditional wood. Not super tall so top bunk is roomy. Cons: Wood beam across bottom of top bunk (see above for hack) Not a lot of space between top and bottom bunk if you put a tall matress down there. Approx. 31" between the bottom bunk slats and the top bunk beam. Mattress size reccomedation: Twin Size Trundle 4"-6" Full Size Bottom Bunk less than 10" to help with more head space. Shipping: Bed parts come in 2 boxes! 1st box came in 10 days or so and the 2nd box cam like 10 days after the 1st box (so keep that in mind) Pretty sturdy both upper and lower. I am about 160 pounds and help my kids change the covers and don't hear any noise when I get on the mattress. I did place a 12 in memory mattress on the lower but needed to buy a 10 in memory mattress for the upper since I was worried my kid might roll over. Only thing I didn't like was that the lower has little to no space when my kid wants to sit up and he's only 3. Maybe a thinner mattress like 8 in would be better for this bunk bed but so far so good ... show more

Product is easy to put together. It takes a bit of time if you are working by yourself, and you will need someone to help you hold pieces or lift the top onto the bottom at some point. Bunk bed is sturdy when it gets put together. Our daughters are little right now so it's plenty sturdy for them. You could easily add another cross piece or plywood for more support as they get older if need be. My wife and daughter were both on the top bunk and it held them easily. They recommend a 6 inch mattress in the top. We currently have an 8 inch mattress at the top. The guardrail might offer a little more protection with the 6 inch mattress if you are worried about that. But it still blocks the kids from rolling out even with an 8 inch mattress. Two pieces were cracked in shipping. Looks like the box got damaged, and so two pieces on the top were split. I communicated with the company and they quickly settled with a partial refund, and I fixed the splits myself. This is what I asked for. They would have refunded the full amount for a return, but we wanted to keep the bunk bed since its difficult to find a full over full bunkbed. They responded quickly via email and agreed. This bunk bed is sturdy and of good quality. It’s as described and arrived way before expected delivery date. My teens were able to put it together on their own, so the instructions were good. It looks nice; it’s a nice white color. My only complaint is that it’s short to me. Anyone older than 4-6 won’t be able to sit up in the bottom bed (and I am using an 8” mattress); I don’t particularly like that. Be sure about the measurements and your preference before purchasing. Also be careful about the thickness of the twin mattress you use for the trundle. 10” mattress doesn’t fit. ... show more

Bought this bunk bed for an upgrade in my daughters room. It isn’t overwhelmingly bulky like most bunk beds. It is the perfect fit and I love that it is a full over a full! You get a great bed for a good deal. It took a few hours to assemble. It was easy to put together as well. Worth the price!

Very bad product, just after dismantling, you can see that the material is broken, and the wooden boards supporting the upper bunk are of very poor quality. A person who weighs 130 pounds sleeps on the upper bunk, and the wooden boards are closed even with a large beam in the middle. It is bent, accompanied by creaking sound, it feels like it is about to collapse, and it is very careful to go to bed, very bad product ... show more

Some instructions were unclear on assembly. The worst part is there were two times where we had to redrill a couple holes because they were misaligned. There were white paints marks throughout and I ordered the gray.
