I was really skeptical about this purchase. You just don't know with a bed coming in the mail until it's too late. Returning would be a nightmare! Thankfully, this thing exceeded my expectations by a lot! No smells, good quality finish and oh my goodness, it's so comfortable. That being said, bed comfort is highly subjective. This mattress is for sure on the firm side. You don't sink down into it (I'm a 5'10" 210lb man). It's pretty thick. I didn't measure it but it looks/feels like around 11". I'm realizing this would be a very popular Tinder ad as well. Anyway, the mattress is firm overall but the memory foam top adds just the right "give". It's good. After around 3 weeks with it, I still kind of melt when I climb onto it. My coach only has room for the short queen and the mattress is the perfect fit. When it arrived we were skeptical that a “real” mattress can be this compact...but 12 hours later it has fluffed up to just over 11 inches. We are giving it the full 24 hours before using it, to follow the directions. Several reviews mentioned an odor - we have noticed no odor at all with ours. We purchase it to replace the thin foam mattress in our RV & our nights sleep is about to improve! Over all we’re very please with the quality for the price & the convenience of 2 day Amazon delivery. TIP: If you are placing your mattress in a small space like an RV make sure you have it pillow top side up before opening the vacuum sealed bag. It expands very quickly and would be hard to try and flip once it has started to expand. ... show more

    • Not a good mattress to even get by for a few months to a year

Sinks within days to weeks of use. I bought this mattress as I am a single mom and didnt have a large budget. I have a week on and week off schedule with my kids and when I am not with my kids I dont even stay at home. I also spent most of the summer not home or using this mattress. If I had to estimate this mattress has been used a total of maybe 3 months. This mattress literally is sinking about 3-4 inches. The sides hold up because they are not made like the middle foam area, even those are sinking though. I replaced my old 9 year old mattress because it was sinking and hurting my back. Now i'm in the same place I was less than a year ago with a mattress that has rarely had use, with a sore back and no money to spend. I bought the mattress in Feburary 2018 didn't use it all summer then prior to that only every other week. Don't buy this one guys, it's not worth it. ... show more

Almost perfect, for my wife and I at least. If this bed was just a tough softer it would be bordering on perfection for my wife and I. We like a firm bed, unfortunately this is just a touch too firm. Still, we are quite pleased with it & it is definitely well made. Setup out of the package was easy, and saving a trip to the furniture store to haul a queen sized mattress back to our rural home was not appealing in any way shape or form, so getting this delivered shrink wrapped in a box was not only convenient, it was cost effective. If you like a bed that tends on the firmer side, that is well made & should have great longevity, I would highly recommend this. If you're looking for very soft, forget it, if you're looking for a bed that tends to the softer side, this could still work. At the end of the day we are happy with the purchase. ... show more

At 1st I was a little sckeptical about buying a mattress online but I've noticed that it is the latest trend for people who are buying them especially under a $1000. One of my daughters needed a mattress so I thought I would take a risk but I did my research watched the videos and looked really good at the pictures and it seemed to be a pretty nice mattress especially for the price. When I got the mattress it arrived at my daughter's house when I went over to check it out I was satisfied with the product except that after a week I noticed it was still ONLY 9.5" !!!!! high NOT !!!!! 11.4 " high as advertised!! It is nicely made although the height was a little disappointing. I was ALMOST totally satisfied with the product if they would have been 100% honest with the height. ... show more

Waited 48 hrs to try hoping for a great nights rest. Been weeks now... Reading the reviews had me convinced I was buy a great bed, but surprise! Mattress is only 9.5", not 11.5". Extremely firm like sleeping on a sleeping bag on the floor. Sides of bed collapse when you sit on it. Topper is like a cotton ball that flattens when you lay on it. Bought a bed topper to put on top of the mattress and it still extremely firm. Cost too much to package up to return, so disappointed! Now I'm stuck with it. ... show more

Very hard. I just changed from my previous pillow top that was soft but after 6 years had lumps. No lumps in this one as it's new but it's like laying on a rock. I've ordered a goose feather topper to try to improve it. Came with black stains similar to some already pictured by others as well which made me furious as you can't send this back. Shipped on time, packaging was a little beat up but no damage to mattress, it’s heavy and bulky need 2 people to unpackage especially in an RV. Big Thanks to other reviewers, because as a result we knew to place the mattress pillow side up before we let it expand. Only downside as of now is access to the an under bed storage is difficult because mattress doesn’t bend as easy as memory foam this is not unexpected just notable to you RV’ers out there. The mattress is tall (11.0” as advertised). I saw where others stated that it only expanded to 9.0” but not this one. It is 60” X74” a true short queen. FIRM is the word and that was one of the main reasons for purchasing. We have 4 nights sleeping on it so far (not a lot of data) but neither my partner or I awoke with aches or pains ( well none attributed to sleeping on this mattress anyway) . Cover was pristine, No smells ( my partner has a super sensitive nose and I heard no complaints so it doesn’t smell) conclusion just what I ordered! ... show more
