So pleased. I am going to point out all the basics about this purchase. Delivered on time. No smell when opened. Thickness almost inflated to 14 inches upon opening. We let it rest for time suggested before sleeping on it despite it being at 14 inches all the way around. Medium firm is exactly right. Firm with right amount of give. Bed absolutely feels cool to the touch. Best sleep I have had in quite a long time. No night sweats last two nights. Set up was easy. Just follow the directions. For a king size would suggest two people to set up. Sleep wise I have no hip pain and my neck stays straight with pillow. I never felt my hubby move so motion isolation works. We have only slept on this two times so I will update again in a month. But not disappointed. Disappointment is my last mattress from a mattress store and the poor quality of sleep with a much higher price tag. I hope this helps someone. Hubby, dog and I are pleased with the purchase so far. Worth the price even for first two nights of actual sleep, but we do hope to get many nights of rest from it. Oh forgot to mention the size was accurate for a standard king. So no issues there. I have a long story. Originally, I purchased a $700 mattress from Sam's. When we unboxed that mattress, it was damaged on the bottom side as if the forks of the loader used pierced it. We went ahead and used the mattress while I reported the issue with Sam's. The Sam's mattress had wonderful support even at the edges. Sam's did not cooperate with me, so we are returning it. In the meantime, I decided to purchase this mattress from Amazon at a fraction of the cost. Honestly, my expectations were low. I was sure this would be just a terrible quality but to my surprise this mattress is very nice. It expanded somewhat quickly to its advertised thickness dimensions. No bad smells. The only difference in this vs. the $700 mattress is the edges. When you sit on the edge it does not support quite as well as the other mattress. However, it is not so bad that you feel like you'll fall off the bed though. And once you get on all the way the bed is very comfortable and honestly, we cannot tell the difference in this mattress and the $700 one! Time will tell how this holds up overall. This mattress is advertised as medium-firm, but in reality it is extremely firm. It also lacks proper edge support—if you sit on the edge, it collapses and won’t hold your weight unless you move more than a foot inward. Because of the firmness, we had to add a foam topper, which we didn’t want to do. The added height makes it harder to get in and out of bed, which is not ideal for us. The biggest issue, however, is the size. The mattress is about 3 inches longer than standard, and it does not fit properly in our bed frame that has both a headboard and footboard. We had to force it into place, which makes putting on fitted sheets very difficult. Overall, I would not recommend this mattress, especially if your bed frame includes both a headboard and footboard ... show more
