I had this one saved in my cart for a while and finally decided to get it. My cats LOVE IT. They have a blast climbing up the pole with their claws, and lounging around on the platforms. It's an excellent way for them to get energy out. Highly recommend. It seems sturdy, and it was easy to put together. It took me maybe 45 minutes on my own. I will say it would probably be easier with a ladder to do the final part of tightening the bolts on top to make it reach the ceiling snugly. This is collection of pole sections and platforms that can be arranged in pretty much any order. It's very sturdy if you wedge it in tightly between floor and ceiling, but beware... the tensioning bolts in the top section WILL work loose over time, causing the whole thing to fall, if you do not put thread locking compound on them. That's available at your local hardware store. The blue stuff. Also, the plastic bowl platform is just a mistake. Cats don't like hard surfaces. Excellent quality. In my place we have 9ft ceilings where this is mounted, and with that we had to leave out one large section, the small section and one of the platforms. Their instructions are great and provide scenarios for 4 different ceiling height ranges. Measure first then use the appropriate instruction and this is easy. Some people will want a helping hand especially for the final placement. Also some cats may have a problem feeling secure on the higher platforms as the wood is rather smooth. The included pads are thin and do not cover the entirety of the platforms. Several folks have told me to find nice clean spare carpet scraps and affix some of that around the platforms. Then the cats zip around this thing like they have velcro. Absolutely love this tower! ... show more

Once installed, the tower is super sturdy. My two cats are constantly jumping on and off it, even wrestling on the tower and it's never so much as budged. The height is adjustable to most ceiling heights, and you can move around the platforms however you want.

Great cat tree. Easy set up and happy it was able to reach my 9 foot ceiling. Goes well in our corner. Didn't use all the platforms. Update: 3 months later cats are still loving it they climb it daily. It's still secure in the position I originally installed it. Seems very durable.
