I had this one saved in my cart for a while and finally decided to get it. My cats LOVE IT. They have a blast climbing up the pole with their claws, and lounging around on the platforms. It's an excellent way for them to get energy out. Highly recommend. It seems sturdy, and it was easy to put together. It took me maybe 45 minutes on my own. I will say it would probably be easier with a ladder to do the final part of tightening the bolts on top to make it reach the ceiling snugly. This is collection of pole sections and platforms that can be arranged in pretty much any order. It's very sturdy if you wedge it in tightly between floor and ceiling, but beware... the tensioning bolts in the top section WILL work loose over time, causing the whole thing to fall, if you do not put thread locking compound on them. That's available at your local hardware store. The blue stuff. Also, the plastic bowl platform is just a mistake. Cats don't like hard surfaces. I will need to remove it and replace it with cloth somehow. ... show more

Excellent quality. In my place we have 9ft ceilings where this is mounted, and with that we had to leave out one large section, the small section and one of the platforms. Their instructions are great and provide scenarios for 4 different ceiling height ranges. Measure first then use the appropriate instruction and this is easy. Some people will want a helping hand especially for the final placement. Also some cats may have a problem feeling secure on the higher platforms as the wood is rather smooth. The included pads are thin and do not cover the entirety of the platforms. Several folks have told me to find nice clean spare carpet scraps and affix some of that around the platforms. Great cat tree. Easy set up and happy it was able to reach my 9 foot ceiling. Goes well in our corner. Didn't use all the platforms. Update: 3 months later cats are still loving it they climb it daily. It's still secure in the position I originally installed it. Seems very durable.

The media could not be loaded. Love this item! I used to have a lot of cat shelving and places to climb on the apartment walls for my cats and in the travel trailer they were a bit bored. This gives them somewhere to climb, another place to sleep. Easy to assemble to fit your needs and dize requirements. I didnt end up using two of the shaft parts or the glass bowl. They may have gotten used to it but since they avoided it for lack of depth perception or whatever, I didnt use it. The hood for one of the levels is detachable too so you dont have to use it if you dont want to. Easy to take off and put on even when we have to put our slides in and drive. Really well made with thick scratcher tubes and 1/2 thick platforms. My cats took to it right away but still haven't figured out the UFO. They just jump past that level and use the platforms. As long as you evenly tighten the three bolts on the top it is very stable and secure. If you have textured ceilings this isn't going to move at all. The top plate has a thick felt like pad on it and I've moved mine twice but haven't noticed any marking on the textured ceiling. I haven't needed to clean it yet, but the felt platform pads don't look like they will hold much cat hair. You'll need about 30 inches x 30 inches of area to put it up. The hammock platform is the biggest of the platforms so if that fits, everything else will too. Would recommend. ... show more
