They crimped on nicely and clicked into the holders firmly. I made a wire up to go on a car battery and put the other end on a small winch I use for pulling logs. It mak a nice compact power pack that is easily disconnected. I plan to make up a pair of jumper cable ends for he battery as well. They didn't get hot when using the winch hard so the connections must be good. I'm happy with them.

These are great connectors; I have ordered them 3 times now 24 pieces and have set them up for my battery chargers, winches on 3 vehicles, also set up 2 winches on radio antenna towers to raise and lower the antenna masts in order to make it easier to work on the antenna's! (towers are 55 and 85ft)

Good product for the cost. We bought these for quickly swapping a battery across multiple engines doing cold-starting evaluations. I was concerned the contacts would wear or become loose, and brought spare cable/connector setup just incase. So far the one connector on the battery side of the setup has seen over 100 connect/disconnect cycles with no issues. For more normal uses (like a boat or camper battery that will be installed/removed seasonally) these should work great.

The connectors are great but no instructions or what tools are needed. Some videos are provided but don't tell you what crimp tool to use for the wire size on the lugs. It claims you can use 8 awg wire but its difficult to find a crimper that will work. Took some time assembling and finding correct tools but connectors are great.
