  • A powerful, lightweight, compact APS-C camera!
I love using this camera. It uncomfortably fits in my pocket but I can carry it everywhere. The autofocus is decent. The ergonomics is not as bad as I’ve thought since it’s super lightweight especially when paired with a 27mm f/2.8 lens. I hold it more like a phone than a regular grippy camera. It can be held by one hand without straining the wrist. The relatively lower screen resolution doesn’t bother me much. I do wish it has a viewfinder and IBIS. But for the compactness and weight it is, the sacrifices are worth it. ... show more

  • Forget About The Hype
A simple reflection after trying this Fuji X-M5 is that: It's not for me, or any elder picture photographer who does little or no videos. I returned it and am keeping the much better X-T50. Pros: tiny to carry, strong video functions, fully articulated LCD. Cons: No EVF (a big shortcoming), too tiny screen text (very hard to read for elders, especially under direct sunlight), very limited image resolution (only 26 mp, 65% of X-T50's 40 mp), no image stabilization ( while X-T50 has 7 stops IS). There is also an occasional AF issue: the AF function has just disappeared several times while you are focusing on something, it forced me to turn off and then turn on the camera so to get the AF again. I don't know if it's due to that this is a bad copy of camera, or due to the quality control of the product. The dimensions on paper of X-M5 may be a little bit smaller than X-T50, but practically I don't feel they have a big difference, so X-T50 is also very portable and a much smarter choice for someone like me (elder landscape photographer, seldomly shoot videos). ... show more

  • Worth Every Penny!
The Fujifilm X-M5 Mirrorless Digital Camera is worth every penny. The image quality is exceptional, with vibrant colors and incredible detail. The build quality is solid and feels great in hand. The variety of features and settings cater to both beginners and advanced photographers, making it incredibly versatile. I've captured some of my best photos with this camera, and it has completely reinvigorated my passion for photography. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable camera. ... show more

  • Prefer it over the X-T50
Takes amazing photos and uses the same sensor as the Fuji X-T4 (prior gen flagship) but in a compact package. 26 megapixels is more than enough. I also tried the X-T50, which is also a very good camera but for dollar for dollar the XM5 is a better value. If you're willing to buy the X-T50 might as well go and buy the XT-5. X-M5 has an articulating screen, which is better for a video rather than photography, but works fine for photography (great for selfies). No EVF but that's common with any camera at this price point. Good for beginners as it has a classic PASM dial. The film dial is also really fun to use. ... show more
