Description

The Q PLATINUM series features many new technological advancements. Incorporated into its design is a proprietary Heat Dissipation Chamber (HDC). The HDC expels excess heat from the turbine resulting in much cooler operating temperatures. Less heat translates to longer motor life for your turbine. Because the hot air is routed to the rear of the turbine and passes through 60 holes the process is silent. The Q4 PLATINUM turbine spray system is the quietest 4-stage HVLP turbine on the market. Using patented noise reduction in conjunction with its new PLATINUM features, noise levels have been reduced to less than 50 percent of standard HVLP turbines. All other specifications are identical to the Mini-Mite 4 model. Supplied with the new Fuji T-75G non-bleed spray gun with pattern control knob - the fan size is adjustable from small to large and everything in between (fully incremental). The benefit of non-bleed is that air only passes through the spray gun when the trigger is pulled resulting in less blowing around of shop dust and less paint buildup on the tip of the fluid nozzle. Obtain a professional finish with all known coatings. The spray gun included with this package is the Fuji T-75G with 600cc nylon cup. The standard air cap set is the general purpose 3 (1.3mm) for fine finishing with lacquers, enamels, polyurethanes, latex, water-based coatings and more. Easy to maintain. Perfect for professional or beginner. This is an industrial-rated machine at an unbeatable price. Heavy- duty metal case with gun holder. Portable and powerful. Complete system includes the Q4 PLATINUM quiet turbine, 25ft Hi-Flex hose, T-75G non-bleed spray gun with 600cc nylon cup, viscosity cup, cleaning brush, wrench and 24 page user manual. What’s new in the Q PLATINUM series? The Fuji Spray Heat Dissipation Chamber: Fuji Spray has designed a unique method of removing any heat build-up from the turbine case. Excess heat is channeled to a Heat Dissipation Chamber located at the rear of the case. This unit is for North American 120V plug only. For 220V capacity, please contact Fuji Spray directly. From the Manufacturer The Q4 GOLD Model Turbine Spray System with Gravity Gun is the quietest 4-stage HVLP turbine on the market. • No Regrets!
Style: Adjustable,Ergonomic
I've had my Fuji q4 gold for about 9 months. I've used it quite a bit, two full kitchen jobs, various smaller jobs, a painted trim job, maybe some things I can't remember from all the fumes! I'm very happy with this purchase, glad I got the quieter version, if others are any louder I wouldn't know but much more noise would get old, very tolerable though for big spray jobs and many times its outside my garage while I spray, or even in the house while I sprayed out in the cold. I've sprayed both water based and oil based paint and polyurethane with amazing results. I'm getting good now and some jobs I just couldn't be made any better they are just about perfect and short of a higher quality spray booth it won't get much better. It took a little time to get used to the controls and how to mix things but I've gotten better at it and learned to not just "go with it". Once you find out what it can really do you get better and better at hunting for the perfect balance of settings and mixtures. Now I can just look at what I'm mixing and know what it needs to be sprayable. Right out of the box I was spraying things with the air fully open and when I was done would have paint on the ceiling and 15 feet behind what I was spraying but now I know the controls and last week I sprayed a whole house worth of trim inside a nearly finished house with very little mess! Set the pattern, dial the fluid back, and then I adjust the air flow down to what I like and I can really control the mess! If you get one be patient, get the needles recommended for what you are spraying and learn how to make it work for you, you will not be disappointed, can't be the work I've done with it speaks for itself! Only gripe is getting the lid screwed on right, you will know if you didn't get it tight enough, hard to grip the top well, but if you keep the treads clean and make sure they are seated right and the kid is tight it works great. ... show more

  • Outstanding system from Fugi worth the money
Style: Adjustable,Ergonomic
I have been using high pressure and HVLP systems to spray case work and cabinets for 20 years and this system beats them all . I wish that everyone could own a Fuji 2894-T75G Q4 Quiet HVLP Spray System with the new Fuji T-75G Gravity Non-bleed Spray Gun. I am able to spray oil, polyurethanes and latex products straight out of the can without thinning with the general purpose #3 (1.3mm) air cap with fantastic results. This includes primers and topcoats. The gun is easy to clean, the Q4 Gold has the power needed to spay latex and is very quite. I love the new Fuji T-75G Gravity Non-bleed Spray Gun with pattern Control Knob. Unlike other HVLP systems the pressurized cup system is easy to adjust and works great. Bottom line is I would recommend this product to anyone. The price is worth the quality of the finish that can be achieve. You will save time in sanding which will pay for the system in a very short time. ... show more

  • Excellent HVLP and Gravity Gun - easy setup.
Style: Adjustable,Ergonomic
As a newby to professional spray painting HVLP equipment, was easy to set up and is so much better and an Compressed Air system. Little overspray using oil based stain with 1.0mm air cap. The Q4 air supply is quiet for a turbine type. Well made Canadian product. Tickeled to have it. Clean-up of the spray gun is easy. Applying stain with a 1.0mm air cap, with reduced air lays down a nice even coat. Adjustments on the gravity cup gun are great, set and forget. Glad I got the “whip hose”, for freedom to move the spray gun while applying finish. I am very pleased with performance of the entire system. Thank you Fuji for a well made and robust HVLP finishing ... show more

  • Why Didn't I Buy This Earlier?
Style: Adjustable,Ergonomic
I am an amateur woodworker. I have had experience with suction air guns, airless guns, and low budget HVLP sprayers (think Wagner). Many woodworkers love the Fuji HVLP sprayers. I looked at the whole Fuji product line, and given that my shop is in the basement, and my wife already complains about the noise, I decided to go with the 'Q' series. It seems that the Q4 offers the best blend of performance and price. The system is excellent. Of course there is a bit of learning curve to dial in the right amount of fluid for the pattern changes, but once that is done, the gun lays down a lovely wet coat with minimal visual overlap. Compared to my earlier experience with cheap HVLP, this is a revelation. A couple of very minor observations and suggestions. First, my OCD wonders why if all of the hardware holding the box together is cad plated, the hardware supplied to mount the gun bracket is black and anodized? It seems that a couple of small sheet metal protrusions on the back of the housing would be lovely to wrap the electrical cord around for storage. And given the prevalence of Bluetooth technology today, incorporating a remote on/off switch seems to be a trivial undertaking. All that said, I am quite pleased with the purchase, and glad I didn't wait any longer... ... show more

  • Great sprayer all in one package
Style: Adjustable,Ergonomic
I have to say that i am quite impressed with the quality and output the fuji puts out. its lightweight and very portable. First time i ever used the fuji and i used it for 3 consecutive days running the motor for about 10 hrs a day with several breaks in between. there were no issues and so far so good. The Q4 is supposed to be quiet and its not too loud. The gravity gun worked flawlessly. i like the pressurized cup system but my only issue is that its not very easy to put the cap back on. sometimes when in a hurry, and constantly filling material, I missed the threads and when i squeezed the trigger material dripped out everywhere. I think the cup and cap needs better threads. Also, i feel like everytime i screw on or off the lid, its wearing down the cup. i see scratches on the inside already. i hope they sell replacement cups because the guns are expensive. I bought two guns. for different materials and i am glad i did. i was able to switch materials without having to clean out the gun. Overall i really like the system and hope it holds up to the test of time. the finish was flawless, the fan and fluid adjustments are super easy and they stay in position. i adjusted it once at the beginning and sprayed for 3 days. i know other guns you have to adjust each use. ... show more
