This film has no distortion. PET is much clearer than vinyl I had up before. It's not thick, but definitely thicker than tint I installed before. The blue color is a great option. Bronze can make view seem smoggy, dark tint can make my small room feel compressed. This blue is nice and airy and helps the sky look its best. I saw that this had low reviews, but this is quality material. It was loosing stars because of the difficulty of installation. BUT tint in general is no walk in the park. It's not about IQ, but rather patience, experience, and being handy. My result was excellent. I recommend if you like a clear view, daytime privacy, less heat, and color options. Tips-Definitely do when window is cool and you have a full tank of patience. Lay your piece on a table that will support the entire piece. Masking tape it to table peel side up so it doesn't roll back up on you when measuring for cuts If the protective film is hard to peel, stick masking tape on a corner, work it, and it will separate. Look closely because protective film is so clear, it is hard to see you are successful. To start peeling, hold it down on an edge with your fingers and peel it with other hand downward rather than away from tint and it will be possible to do solo. Don't worry if you tack a fingerprint on the edge, it will be trimmed off later. I had the best results sizing pieces using scissors with an inch extra all the way around. I used the supplied knife to do final trimming. Trying to line up a factory edge with a side takes too much time and too much adjusting. Just go an inch bigger all around so you can grab the extra to peel away remnants. I used a drywall mud knife to pin the tint to the edge of the frame where I cut excess. That made things stay put and the cut tight and straight. The rest like cleaning glass, spraying water, squeegee process is in the directions. Best of luck.

The reviews for this are either 1 Star because of installation issues or 5 stars because it's UV film, which is exactly what I expected. The razor they included was useless, so make sure you have your own. I had never installed UV film on anything. I didn't watch videos, I didn't have a bunch of issues. YOU WILL NEED A FRIEND TO HELP. It will not be a good time if you try this yourself. Use LOTS of soapy water spray. If you use enough, you can move the film once you have it on the window to align. The only thing I had issues with was cutting a couple of the corners. I'm sure there's a trick to get them perfect, but that didn't matter to me much. My home office feels a bit cooler. I didn't expect it to be like winter time in there because of some shade, and you shouldn't either. It blocks UV rays and gives you privacy (you really can't see through them from the outside). Heat reduction is a small benefit. The best thing this did for me was eliminate the glare I had on my work computer monitors. Take your time installing, watch some videos, and have help.

First I don’t understand this product not having a higher star percentage. One of the complaints was adhesion? That’s only because the person didn’t have a clue how to handle tinting film; this film has great adhesion and is very, very simple to get the film to work with and adhere quickly. I have already done two 72”X35” windows and a glass storm door by myself and it was made easy because the film stuck to the window with no issues. When doing these window tinting jobs, you want lots of baby shampoo and water sprayed all over the window to hold the film up to find where to cut the roll to length and then you want enough soapy water on Both the glass and the sticky side with the clear film removed. If one don’t know what they are doing, it js totally possible to accidentally have the film fold into itself and become a giant sticky wad of tinting film because this stuff adheres so well. That said, this is a great product. This tint I easy to install. The tools given make life even easier because the window squeegee works great at getting the water out but a great way to guide the blade to cut the film’s edges. Lastly, the tint does a great job at giving privacy and keeping the area cool and free from hotspots in the room. After saying that, it’s important to know that the tinting does its job by keeping the outside blacked out and you still having complete ability to see outside perfectly. I plan on buying more of this product very soon and highly recommended this brand. I have used several other brands from Home Depot’s, Walmarts, and another online retailer and this has been the best by a long shot. Worth the money.

Installation was easy and the ideal is great however it takes away the natural light. I do like that you can't see in from the outside but very dark inside and I had to turn on lights just to see.

I would give this product a 3.5 rating. I have experience with hanging window film because I do like to cover all west facing windows with it. I found this product more difficult to hang because it has more adhesive than other products. The film is darker than others I have ordered recently....which could be a plus for user. The kit did come with a tiny spray bottle, cutter and squeegee. They were nice to have. Normally, the small bubbles between glass and film dissipate by the next day but after a week, that hasn't happened with this film and it's noticeable when the sun shines through it. I would not order this product again.

They are blackout. Its like painting the glass. The only problem is the skill level to apply it. The edges arent perfect and some light does get through. But, not enough light to see in the room with the lights off. Definitely get more than you need though.

Items pretty good the paper quality is good the only thing the size they're selling for the price it's good but normally that's not the size for a vehicle but I do I am using it on a vehicle not in the house that's only difference but if you have a small car still work for the size

This window film works well for privacy and blocking sunlight, and I like that it comes with all the tools needed for installation ; even for someone who isn’t an expert. The material feels durable and the heat control is noticeable. The only issue is that it’s very hard to peel off from the transparent backing film when preparing to apply it to the window. It would be much easier if it had a small tab to lift. Also, having cutting guides or squares would help avoid crooked cuts. Overall, a solid product that does its job, but with a few design improvements it could be excellent.
