I'm so excited to start putting these book nooks together! Right out of the box, the quality of the materials really impressed me. Everything feels sturdy and well-made, so I know the final product will look great and last a long time. Even the packaging was well-thought-out, with everything neatly organized and protected. The instructions are a huge plus. They're super clear and easy to follow, with helpful pictures and a logical order. It makes building feel like a fun puzzle instead of a chore. I'm especially looking forward to the part where it shows how to connect this book nook to the Book Shop Book Nook from the same company. That modularity is awesome – I can create a growing, connected display for my books that will definitely be a conversation starter! I can already picture these book nooks as little worlds that bring a sense of wonder and coziness. I'm really looking forward to carefully placing all the tiny details and bringing these scenes to life. I bought this for my wife. This is the first kit like this she has ever done. I helped a wee little bit, but not much at all. It was very fun. It took a couple weeks (we didn’t work every day and would go several days in between sessions). The directions are very clear. The parts are high quality. We did have one part that broke and needed gluing back together, but it was our fault it broke. Be patient and careful and it’s a blast. We have already ordered our next one.

Theres 4 to this set and i did this one last. i love the quality of the wood and the gloss finish of each piece. The ease of popping them out was also nice and for the most part the instruction was well done my only complaint is (and this complaint is the same for all 4 ive done in this set) The part where you have to install the door was unnecessarily difficult. i host a nook meeting where we all work on the same nook and this was featured in our last meeting..we ALL had extreme difficulty. Theres no easy way to slide the door into place because of the wedges on the top and on the bottom of the frame. No matter in which order i did those 3 parts ,(trying to slide it with 1 wedge...switching out which wedge im using when sliding , try doing both at once..) it was near impossible to get the door in the top and bottom hole,(the wedges out of frustration i pushed and tried to force it into place but the door snapped and made the handle go flying to the other side of the room. Took me a good min to find it.) I LOVE the asthetic of this booknook, the quality is good, i love the way they double side paint most of the parts, but my god that door step was horrible. Unfortunately you run into this same problem with all three of the other kits but all in all i think they are worth it and wouldnt recommend to my friends and family (with a slight warning about the door of course)

All I can say is WOW! This book book was so fun and enjoyable to put together. The quality is top notch and everything snapped into place. Even all of the lighting was set up so no twisting any wires together and putting it together myself which is so intimidating with the Lighting process of these items. Took me about 5 hours total. I have to say this is the easiest or most enjoyable book nook I’ve ever put together. And it’s just so adorable and pretty. I highly recommend.

Reasons I loved this booknook... It was easy to assemble. The light switch is inside the door marked by a peach color rose on the floor. The end result is gorgeous! Simple to do lighting. Not only was it easy to pop the parts out of the wood sheets, but they were organized on the sheets according to the assembly steps for the most part. If you've ever made a nook where you had to shuffle through the wood sheets repeatedly, I know you'll appreciate this! I worked on this on and off for a day and a half. That said, I took breaks and I spent a little extra time coloring some of the edges with acrylic paint markers. That's not necessary but it does give your nook an even nicer finish. Some parts need a bit of glue (I used Beacon 3 in 1). And you'll also need two AAA batteries. I definitely recommend Champs-Elysees to beginners and experienced builders.
