I give this product a 5-star rating with the proviso that it's only been installed for @ a week. I ordered this model because it is adjustable for width, height, and due to construction. This product is a marvel of engineering and goes together easily using no tools. The instructions, with illustrations, are clear and easy to follow. WIDTH: I wanted a toilet safety rail that was adjustable so access to the toilet holder, attached to the adjacent cabinet, could still be utilized. HEIGHT: Our toilets are all taller ADA compliant and my husband is @ 6" tall, so adjustable height was a must. CONSTRUCTION: All metal parts, no plastic so it should be durable and last. Plus, it is not attached to walls or floors and is portable if we decide to move it to another toilet. It can also be re-adjusted for height and width easily should we want to change those. It arrived in two days after ordering. A Physical Therapist suggested we not use the suction cups that attach to the feet to start with. Some clients don't like the suction cups and it could make the unit less sturdy depending on your flooring. Our flooring is level and tiled. So far, so good without the suction cups. Receiving a product that exceeds expectations is a lovely surprise so at this early stage of use, I can heartily recommend this product. Good luck

This was bought prior to a hip replacement. I wanted to make sure that it would be sturdy enough to hold a person's full weight even if a person put more weight on one side than another. The instructions are easy to follow. This was moved from the main toilet to a half bath because it was closer to get to in a walker. It fits perfectly on a extra long and a regular toilet bowl type seat as the half bath has the extra toilet seat and the main bathroom has a regular toilet seat. It is sturdy and does not slide. It is also easy to clean. This is definitely a great item to have for someone who has problems standing up or sitting down. The legs are adjustable and once they have been set they are locked However, they can be adjusted easily. This is a great value for the money.

This is a great product. It has multiple adjustment points, making it easy to fit into my small toilet area. The padded handles are nice. I saved the padded wrapper and put it on the back crossbars, where they rest against the tank, to keep them from rattling. If I need to stay overnight in a hotel, I take it with me. I just take out the pins that hold the sides perpendicular to the back, fold it up, and pack it. It would be nice if there was a pouch to put the pins in for travel, but I put them in a Ziploc bag and twist-tie it to the unit. This is definitely worth the cost. I needed it while recovering from back surgery, but I think I may leave it up even when I am done healing.

I recently had abdominal liposuction and was surprised I wasn't even able to get off the couch by myself after surgery. I lost all core strength. I also had a really tough time getting up and down for bathroom. I ordered a walker to help pull myself on the couch and Amazon suggested this item as frequently bought together. It's light weight, easy to put together, sturdy, big enough to be comfortable for plus size people (300 lbs). This has made using bathroom so much easier during recovery.

As described by others who have purchased this item, it IS easy to assemble. It can be customized for your height/size. It is portable and can be folded down to save space, if so desired. It is sturdy. It has suction-cup feet that hold it in place...I only use 2 of the four suction feet and that is enough to hold it in place. Best of all, for me, it is affordable. I was quoted $500 to install 2 grab bars for 2 bathrooms at my independent senior living residence! So for under $50, I have something that, to me, is even better and easier to use than a wall-installed grab bar.
