I find this product especially useful as a adequate vapor barrier as well as a proper light blocking material for any purpose. I have used this for those purposes very successfully not only for floors, walls, windows etc, but also in the garden often, remembering that ethylene gas will affect the plants. Works really well for me. Sometimes I use it to block light (as to cover a window); sometimes I just need something relatively narrow to protect things from paint splatters or debris. The thickness makes this plastic easier to handle than those too thin to easily unfold or move around. I have a shelf full of different plastic protective sheets.
