I live in Florida so air conditioning is a very serious business for me. This air conditioner works extremely well. It cools quickly and keeps things nice and chilly. If I want, I can make it straight up COLD too. I’m impressed with how quickly this 12k BTU unit cools my living room. It’s not any quieter than the other units I’ve had but it’s also not any louder. It was simple and quick to set up the WiFi function too. Just make sure you’re on a 2.4ghz network, instead of 5ghz. The app is simple and slick, and I love being able to control the AC from anywhere. I like to turn it on before I leave work so it’s already nice and cool when I arrive home. I can also set custom schedules! This is exactly what I’d been wanting to replace my ten year old AC and I’m thrilled with the purchase. I got this 12000 btu a/c to replace a 12000 Freidrich that I had. Pros- I love the app! It is so convenient to adjust all settings from my phone. There is also a remote that works well too but I prefer using my phone. It's dimensions are smaller than my previous unit, so it is lighter, which made the install easier. The digital display is not on continuously so my room stays nice and dark even while it is running. It was reasonably priced for a 12000 btu unit. Cons- it doesn't seem as powerful as my old a/c. It cools the room down, but it needs to be set a degree or two lower than the temp I want the room to be, and it needs to be on the "cool" setting, rater than the "eco" setting to maintain said temp. It is noticeably louder than my previous a/c. Not to the point that is deafening, but louder nonetheless. It does not have a "dry" setting. I miss this setting so much! To the point that I would have returned this unit if it had not already been installed through my wall. Yes, it is installed through the wall. I have had several window units put through the wall with no problems. I do not anticipate this will give me any trouble either. ... show more

This has one of the most poorly designed air conditioners on the market. The AC apparently has internal memory, but can’t remember the last setting you had it on. Every time it’s powered on, it will go to its default mode of Eco / Auto / 72°. If you’re someone like me that wants it on Cool / Medium / 62°, you have to manually enter it each time. Who wants to press 13 buttons every time they turn on their AC? Also…who wants their air conditioner set at 72°? That’s such a ridiculous starting point. Not to mention it sounds like a jet engine taking off. With some rattling sounds thrown in for good measure. I highly recommend you not do not buy this product.
