Purchased for my walk-in closet. I didn't realize it's open and not an enclosed shade. No matter, it's still really pretty. I used a wide bulb with daylight brightness. Perfect for my closet because my shelving goes up to the ceiling.

It's gorgeous! I ran my fingers along every raw edge of it because of the reviews that said it had sharp edges. I do not discredit those reviews, but that was not the case with mine. It is beautiful! I installed it in minutes! This fixture is both beautiful and simplistic in its mounting process. I didn't require instructions, but it includes them along with screws and additional options for making it as easy on you as possible. I purchased this in Black, and it is not black by definition. The deep purple and blackish hue work. I am using a bulb well below the 60w max. I first tried an LED bulb (white on the bottom half and normal on the top half), and it felt hot to the touch on that white part after just a minute. That made me uncomfortable. I'm not saying that the advertised wattage is wrong, but I wasn't comfortable with the heat. It is in my kitchen, so rather than freaking out, I fixed the situation by putting a 9w bulb in it. You won't be disappointed with this fixture! Happy installation!! ... show more

This is a gorgeous light at a reasonable price!! I absolutely love it. The directions leave a little to be desired so I just looked up basics ceiling light replacement and it was a breeze. You will need a wire stripper to remove the wire coating from the ends of the wires so that was a bummer but the light is just perfect for my space so can’t take off any stars. ... show more
