For a while now, I have been looking for a good quality paddle that provides comfort, decent spin, good control, and a little bit of power. I believe I just found that with the Friday Pickleball Paddle. With its (what I think is) sprayed-on grit + carbon fiber surface, this paddle provides decent spin. Whether you’re hitting crazy, looping topspins or cutting through the court with a lot of slice, I believe you’ll have fun playing with this paddle. Being 16mm thick, this is aimed to play as a control paddle. Having to come in to the kitchen and be confident that you can put the ball where you want it to go can really help improve your game most especially when you are starting out. However, the Friday paddle is more than just a control paddle. It also provides some power. By all means, the Friday paddle is not a power paddle. It still is a control paddle with its 16mm width, but surprisingly, the paddle has some decent pop to it and provides a little bit of extra power for the weekend, recreational club player. Overall, I would say Friday did a great job of bringing a paddle under USD 100 with how it performs. This paddle I believe performs better than some paddles way over it’s price point, and I think is a lot of paddle for money. So why the 4-star rating? It might not show on the photo I provided but the paddle’s design was printed on poorly at least for the paddle I got. I know it doesn’t affect performance, but I just wished the printing was cleaner and crispier since I love the look of these paddles. **I had the paddle shipped to the Philippines and have been playing with the Friday paddle everyday since it arrived. All I can say is I am still enjoying playing with it. I even lean into playing with it more than my Selkirk Halo Control.

Bought it on a one day sale at 40% off. Couldn't be happier. Those I play with noticed and commented on how much it improved my play. Great spin and, being a former tennis and racquetball player, I really like the tennis racquet style grip.
