Anycubic is one of my favorite printer manufacturers - four of my 10 printers are made by Anycubic - primarily because of their excellent support, and reasonable prices. Their PLA is quickly becoming one of my favorite filaments. The print quality is excellent using the Anycubic filament profiles in OrcaSlicer, the colors are usually spot on, and the price is hard to beat. This orange is nice and bright - not quite fluorescent, but not a dull pumpkin color, either, and I love it. It's almost exactly the same color as the orange print head cable on my Kobra 3 V2, so naturally I used it to print some mods for that printer. Layer adhesion is excellent and I had no stringing or warping, even on the large purge bin. Very happy with this PLA, and will certainly buy more.

This 1kg spool of PLA filament has been a dependable choice for my 3D printing projects. The diameter is consistent throughout the roll, which results in smooth feeding and clean, accurate prints. I’ve had no issues with tangling, and the filament loads easily into my printer without jams. The prints come out with sharp details, strong layer adhesion, and a smooth finish. It works well at standard PLA temperatures, and I’ve noticed very little warping even on larger models. The spool is tightly wound and packaged with a vacuum seal and desiccant, so the filament arrives dry and ready to use. At 1kg, the spool is large enough to handle bigger projects without running out mid-print, which adds peace of mind when tackling lengthy jobs. It’s a great balance of quality and value, making it an excellent option for both hobbyists and more serious makers. Overall, a high-quality PLA filament that delivers consistent, reliable results. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love using Anycubic filament. Never have any issues with the quality, also its convenient when loading the filament color changer and it automatically knows what color i put in by the NFC on the roll. Always reliable, and always available wheh I need to order it. Print quality with it is very nice, lays down smooth and prints come out looking super clean.

Review Edit! I was contacted by the manufacturer after my review and they sent me a new roll of filament. I’m happy to report back that it successfully worked with a 35 hour print with zero issues! Minimal stringing, it adhered well to the bed and looked great! Great customer service. I have been trying to get the grey PLA to work with little success. I’m having issues with stringing and blobs on the initial layers which is causing me to cancel the prints. I’ve tried different temperature settings and speeds on my Neptune 4 Max with no success. The color looks fine from what I have seen but I can not get a successful print done with it. Also having issues with bed adhesion, even with glue etc. I will test more to see if I can get a successful print out of it, if so, I will edit my review and report back with the proper settings to achieve optimal results.

I've been printing for years, and this is absolutely the worst filament I've ever used. Before it totally clogs the nozzle, it starts coming out like cotton candy. Flow starts out good but gradually decreases during the print. The first print failed at the end of the second day of a three day print. I changed some settings as well as the tension on my direct drive extruder. I swapped out my hardened steel nozzle for a brass nozzle. I also changed my perimeters so the print would only take two days. Once again, everything started out fine, but when I checked the following morning, the extruder was floating around in mid-air with another big ball of cotton candy stuck to it. There's also a problem with bed adhesion. Prior to these two failed prints, I had four failed starts. The filament immediately started lifting off the print bed in the first attempt. I cleaned the glass bed and tried again, only for another fail. So I grabbed the hairspray, which didn't help at all, so I cranked up the bed temperature 10 degrees and along with the hairspray, that solved the adhesion problem. This stuff definitely isn't worth the trouble. UPDATE: So they sent me another roll of the exact same junk and I got the exact same results. Read every negative feedback and you'll see a recurring theme. UPDATE to the UPDATE: So it turns out that I had a direct drive extruder motor going bad. After purchasing a new printer, I decided to give this filament another try. It prints PERFECTLY on the new printer! My apologies to Anycubic for the bad review.

Worked just great for the beads I made for a model rocket based on a tiny bead design my granddaughter made for me. See the pic. My rocket and the tiny one she made for me. Note that the beads were made with this blue filament and also green filament. 190 degrees C hot end, 60 C build plate temps worked great.
