These fit nicely and help to protect my hands when playing winter frisbee, both to keep them a little warmer and to provide a bit of cushioning when catching -- my hands otherwise get 'brittle' when it's 50 or below and the frisbee can easily bruise, and my skin has no grip when it's cold, so these solve that problem too. I don't play ultimate, just throw and catch, but I will say that the frisbee really stays in your hand no matter how tenuous your grasp might be as you run to get it. But as my friend's asked - what about throwing, are they too grippy/sticky to let go when throwing? No! They give just the right amount of grip to throw and let go of it with some spin, and are fitted enough that there is no 'cumbersome' feel inhibiting your connection and ability to direct it when throwing. Summer (temperate weather) bare-handed playing is still my preference, but these enable me to play a bit in the winter and not hibernate for 6 months. ... show more

I ended grabbing these being interested in throwing more in the rain with confidence forehand. Everyone knows the disasters of throwing a disc in a torrential downpour haha šŸ˜‚ Initially the gloves feel great out of the bag. I was a little disappointed with the left hand glove looking like it was used? Or... snagged something on the wrist prior to being packaged. But Iā€™m assuming itā€™s just a quality control issue. Another disappointing thing was that it looks like on the right hand glove, on the left side of the pointer, looks to be weirdly stitched? Or mis-stitched?. I can only assume itā€™s from the double stitching from the grip pad side. Sadly it looks like itā€™s practically ripping out of the package brand new. And that was a big downer. Since the left hand glove one that area looks perfectly fine side by side. Other then those gripes, The grip feels good so far. And... need it to rain to give this a more tested and better review. But the grip is unique, and not overly grippy. Feels pretty natural. Material is pretty thin Now only time will tell how durable these gloves are šŸ‘ŒšŸ» Even with the imperfections Thanks! ... show more

    • Good fit, great grip
I've tried several different brands of athletic gloves for frisbee, and this is the first one that I haven't had to "get used to" before my throws felt natural and reliable. They're flexible and fairly form-fitting, with grip in the right spots for both catching and throwing. They're not particularly insulating (I think Friction Gloves sells a different version for that), but they definitely make it more comfortable to play in cold/wet weather compared to bare hands. The grippy material on the palms and fingers doesn't feel as durable as I expected, but I haven't had any problems with wear and tear so far. They're a bit more expensive than some of the other frisbee-specific gloves on the market right now, but so far I think it's been worth it. ... show more

Gloves run very small. I normally wear a medium but the medium in these gloves feel very small so I went with a large which was still a bit too small but workable. Aside from that, these gloves were fantastic! I played with them for the first time today and I couldnā€™t drop a disc if I wanted to. I was also worried that it would affect my throw but it didnā€™t in any way. Highly recommend but get a size or two up. ... show more

    • Why can't I buy two right handed gloves?

Please allow for people to buy 2 right handed gloves, or 2 left handed gloves. I really like the product, but now I have a great new glove, and a useless one. It would be nice to have two right handed gloves. So if I tear one I have a back up.
