    • Upper middle of the road lighted frisbee
I've recently discovered lighted frisbees. I wish I had one of these when I was younger, when my friend and I used to stay out until we couldn't see that thing anymore. And then we played some more. Those were good days. Man, if we had a frisbee like this, we would have stayed out until the battery died. And that brings me to this frisbee. Of the lighted frisbee types available at this time, this one is in the upper middle of the road. This is the best of the three lighted frisbees I currently have. It features a rechargable battery, true RGB LEDs (capable of many colors) located around a hub in the center of the disc and four selectable brightness levels. You can switch from: With the power button: a pulsing rainbow color cycle a counterclockwise RGB swirl a counterclockwise rainbow color swirl a counterclockwise fast pulsing a counterclockwise multi color fill a counterclockwise four light rainbow run a mode that cycles through all the above modes and back to the top of the list More modes available with the brightness button: solid red solid green solid blue solid yellow solid cyan solid magenta color cycle through the rainbow and back to the top of the list This disc features a rechargable battery that can run for five hours (or so they say) on a charge. The controls and battery compartment are on bottom center of the disc. This disc has a sealed cover over all of the important parts and non intrusive plastic push buttons for turning it on/off and changing options. The USB-C recharging port does not have a cover, which is one of the few design oversights IMO, as dirt can get in there. This disc has the rounder rim and deeper design I prefer. The lighting is very cool and this is the one of three lighted frisbees I currently own that gets the most praise. As I previously mentioned, this is the best of the lighted frisbees I own at this point and I can recommend it without hesitation.     • Fun to play with in the near dark.
The disc works well. My son and I threw it around for about 20 minutes last night. It was about 2 hours after sunset but we had a street light in the corner of our front yard lighting up the area enough for us to see each other easily. It was pretty windy for the most part, but this disc acted exactly like I expected it to. I've been playing catch with Frisbees and numerous other flying discs most of my life (so over 40 years). This disc reminds me of the size and shape and weight of a true to spec ultimate frisbee disc. It had similar flight to what I know from an ultimate frisbee. I like the fact that the electronics in the disc don't make the disc wobble and they don't make it too heavy. I received it yesterday and plugged it in straight away. It was already mostly charged but I topped it off. I didn't check after we were done to see how far down the battery had been discharged from playing with the disc for 20 minutes. Cycling through the modes and brightness levels and colors etc... is pretty easy once you figure it out. For my son and I last night the brightest setting was too bright. He made the comment after you look at it to catch it you can't see anything else for a bit. I agreed, so we turned it down a couple levels. It was much more tolerable to look at and catch and not be "blinded"! One big concern I had was how impact resistant the electronics would be. We hit a curb and a couple trees. Once was a direct impact to a tree at a pretty good clip but nothing changed at all. The instruction manual that is referred to on the outside of the box is nowhere to be found. Luckily there is a quick instruction and feature list on the outside of the box that got me going. Side note: there were a LOT of spelling and grammatical errors in the text on the outside of the box. Doesn't matter for functionality or me figuring the disc out but my question is if they don't do that part right what else are they not doing right.     • Lights Are Fantastic/Reasonably Balanced
I wouldn't say this is the MOST perfectly balanced light up disc compared to ones you might pay four times the amount for. But it's a smooth flying disc with nice weight, and the lights are some of the best I've seen on a frisbee. We played with this late at night in the dark and it was so crisp and clear to see. This would be perfect if it wasn't for the typo on the disc itself. This is clearly trying to emulate the Frisbee branding instead of just doing its own thing. As a disc, it's perfectly capable - it's balanced, the lighting is nice, and the USB-C charging is future-proof to an extent. I just wish it wasn't such an egregious copycat. ... show more

My family loves going frisbee golfing at night, especially during the winter. My son’s current light up frisbee stopped lighting up so he needed a new one. This is the perfect replacement. Other LED frisbees use fiber optics which can break or the LEDs just aren’t bright enough or don’t last. What I like about this one, is the design for the lights, battery, USB C charging port, buttons, and best of all 4 lights for a battery indicator. It’s a game changer to have a rechargeable battery instead of the button batteries that others come with and to be able to see how much of a charge is left. No more guessing if it needs to be recharged or worrying about if the frisbee light will go out at night and not being able to finish the round of frisbee golf.     • Cool Nighttime Fun!
Charged it up with the USB cable included. It isn't apparent on how to turn it on from looking at the back of the disc alone. But it lit right up in all the colors and movement by following the function features on the back of the box. A fun gift for campers and outdoor enthusiasts.
