These are the perfect size to store a family sized portion of an entree (like salmon or potatoes) or an individual entire meal. We have found them very useful for meal prep for making meals ahead of time, but also for storing leftovers individually. They seem to seal well and food stored in them lasts as long or longer than food stored in gladware, and longer than portions of the same food sealed in a ziploc bag placed alongside them. They are cheap enough that we are comfortable using them, durable enough that you can eat right out of them and even cut meat in them, and they don’t get flimsy or warped when heated in the microwave. I love these so much more than using cracked, scratched, stained tupperware where the lids or bowl always break and you’re left with a messy drawer of mismatched junk. These nest so they take up a teeny bit of space when stacked in a drawer or cabinet, and they securely stack and sort of fit onto each other without sliding. We often stack 4 or 5 in the fridge with no cracking or splitting. This is easily one of my top 5 meal/kitchen organizing game changers. I know this review sounds overly positive, but I’m a real person who has ordered and reordered these because I like them so much. If there are any cons, it is that they aren’t the cheapest thing out there, but I do think you get what you pay for. ... show more

These containers are excellent for meal prepping. They are lightweight, microwave-safe, and freezer-safe, making them very convenient for everyday use. I also love that they are stackable, which helps save a lot of space in the fridge. Each container has enough room for a balanced meal with carbs, protein, and even a side dish. I’ve even brought one or two with me to restaurants so I can easily take leftovers home, which has been really handy. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that I’ve noticed white spots developing after a few washes. I’m not sure if this is due to overheating food in the microwave or from running them through the dishwasher. It does make me a bit unsure about long-term durability and whether I should continue reheating meals in them. Overall, these containers have made batch cooking much easier and have saved me both time and money. It’s so convenient to have ready-to-go meals whenever I’m hungry. ... show more

I'm so happy I found these! I've been meal prepping for over 3 years, some for me but mostly for my hubby's lunches for work. I've bought several similar containers (same materials) but in larger sizes, which were just *too* large. I'm happy with these because they are not actually small but an appropriate medium size. I can fit plenty of food for a satisfying meal. Like, 2 chicken legs and a pile of veggies. My hubby is no longer complaining I pack too much food. (I know, right? Lol.) Also, they fit a lot better in my freezer. This is important as meal prepping is all about making large batches of food at one time. Gotta be able to fit it all in the fridge/freezer. Bonus points for fitting nicely in my kitchen cabinet as well. I bought these in Oct and it's now mid Dec and I'm finding they perform the same as those other containers, going from freezer to microwave to dishwasher. Eventually theyll get that melty spot somewhere and need to be tossed. These are not meant to last forever, after all, but with care they should last reasonably well. One other thing I noticed is that the lids come off easier, which is helpful for my arthritic fingers. To be clear, the lids stay securely in place, so not a loose fit but not overly tight. These worked just fine for fresh food meal prep, they are microwaveable and don't melt (unless there's a lot of oil or bacon grease, or cooked too long) in the microwave. They clean up ok, but greasier meals need some white vinegar in VERY hot soapy water (I hand wash). The lids can stain depending. They are fairly durable and reusable so that is a money saver. I am only giving this 3 stars because I was specifically looking for FREEZER meal prep containers. Yes, you can freeze meals in these, BUT ice crystals form inside the containers and if you drop them straight from the freezer, they are bound to break super easily. ... show more
