I don't often say this but I really like the look of this Fregito Spinning reel, great colors and design. The reel is solid, no parts of this reel wiggles or feels loose once the handle is tightened. The anti-reverse is great. When you stop cranking it has no backward movement at all. Even with the 4lb test line with just a light sinker, the cast is much further than expected. There is a slight ticking sound in the reel when it is cranked very quickly. Hopefully this will not become a problem. It does seem very well made. ... show more

I got this to replace a 20-year-old Quantum Snapshot reel on a newer-ish 7-foot carbon light/ultralight rod setup. I’m happy with it. The drag is precise to set and stays set. The media could not be loaded. I like the style and operation of this spinning reel. It can be operated left and right hand. I like the EVA non-slip handle. I like the anti reverse gearing. I like how smooth the drag performs. I don’t like that the knob that tighten the handle and spindle is made of plastic. I don’t like that the hardware in the spool and rotor seems weak.Overall I give it a 4 star rating. ... show more

This was easily installed on one of our rods, though it was a very tight fit. Loading the line was easy and smooth. The anti-reverse works well so far. The gears and reel move smoothly and are very quiet.

I like this spin cast reel it smooth cranking CANT wait to spool some line on it and set the hook on some crappie. I highly recommend this reel
