I received my bike about a week ago. It was packaged extremely well! It took about an hour to unpack and assemble, but I'm fairly handy at doing that kind of stuff. The bike seems to be built very well. It is heavier than your standard bicycle for sure, but it handles and rides great. I am very impressed with the power and torque of the motor. I weigh about 200 pounds and it barely knows I'm on it when it's time for the motor to kick in. The life of the battery has been exceptional. After I charged the battery, I got about 85 miles on it before I decided to charge it again, but I still had 34 percent battery life left. I feel certain I could have gotten over 100 miles on it before it "needed" to be charged. I've had it up to 38 mph in the unlocked mode with me pedaling about as hard as I can to see how fast I could go on a flat surface. My legs probably just couldn't pedal any faster. I did get it up to 41 going downhill, but gravity was helping me out on that one. That is really fast on a bicycle!! Most of my riding is in Pedal Assist Mode 2, and my speed averages 15 to 17 mph at that level with minimal effort on my part. Mode 3 jumps me up to about 23 mph, which is kind of fast for the majority of the riding that I do, but in some areas it's perfect. I'm 5'8" and while throwing my 58 year old leg over it to get on or get off is a little tight, once I'm on the bike it's fine. If you are shorter than 5' 7" you might need to be a little more flexible than I am to be comfortable doing that. I bought the ultimate package that came with all the accessories and they are handy to have. The bag that fits on the luggage rack is perfect to carry your stuff in. I am very pleased with this bike, so much so that I'm looking to buy a 20" model for my wife. I initially didn't want the 4 inch wide tires, but now that I have them I'm glad I do. They add stability and I think they make the ride a little smoother. There are so many different brands of e-bikes out there it's hard to decide which one is right for you. If Freesky has a model that suits your needs, I would certainly recommend them! ... show more

This bike is a blast! High quality build and is really fast. I bought it for my commute to work, but I have to wrestle it away from my teenager now because he always wants to ride it. Easy to assemble (but the key fob setup wasn’t clear: spoiler, hold it over the controls, not the screen). Battery holds a really long charge. I investigated many e-bikes online and finally made a decision to purchase the Freesky Swift Horse and man am I glad I did. This bike is very well constructed and the joints are hand welded. The frame is beefy and the bike looks great. I ordered the upgrad kit which made it that much more awesome. Many bikers that I’ve talked to loved my Swift Horse when they saw it. To begin with the things, the beast it’s super fast and really powerful and if you do the bypass, you can literally put it up to close to 40 miles an hour downhill or flat however, the little credit card key thing doesn’t work. I’ve reached out to the company and they haven’t got back to me on that one I wish the pedal assist was a little bit more variable. I feel like when I peddle it. It’s all a battery. It’s hard for me to figure out how to give it input. I love the full suspension. I like the light system turn signals. It even has a horn and it gives me a great workout, which is why I bought it. ... show more

I purchased this bike because I live off grid and wanted secondary transporting, and recreation, on the mountainous terrain. I am a big guy (6'4" 280+) and wanted more physical activity but also the ability to ride for pleasure. The bike hits 20mph with me on it and has no trouble with hills. The motor delivers ample power and the ride is super comfortable, without giving up control. Big tires grab the loose ground, and occasional rocks, very well. I got the extra bag for the cargo rack, which I use to move hand tools, and the occasion adult beverage. I have the Freesky Swifthorse Pro. This bike is a beast. I have had it for a little over a month and it has performed as good or better than I expected. It works well on paved bike paths but really shines on forest roads and trails. I have gone between 50-60 miles between charges. I have kept all the factory settings and haven’t seen a need to change anything. The suspension definitely helps as I am a 225 lb rider. I have no concerns that it will handle what I want to do. Buy a good bike rack as it is heavy. I did have one missing part and emailed Sara. She was very responsive and professional. I know you have a lot of options but I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Freesky. ... show more
