After dealing with various secondhand jackets being super tight in the shoulders despite being 2XL, I got this in 3XL with low expectations. I was surprised by the quality - it feels well made, the inside material is warm and it's protected during the winds of winter storm Elliot pretty well. I wish the snow skirt was removable as it makes reaching for things above you ride your shirt up, but that's pretty niche. The material that hooks around your thumb to protect some of your hand is nice, I hadn't noticed it when I bought it but it's pretty comfortable and helps with warm, though it's a bit tight when reaching. I bought this jacket to wear under my ski instructors gore-tex shell. It's a very warm jacket and has a ton of pockets to carry whatever additional ski gadgets you might need. My shell has a non-detachable hood so I was glad to know that the hood on this jacket was removable - a good selling point. This past weekend it was -2 F at the summit of the mountain I instruct at, with winds around 25 mph, and this jacket kept the cold out. The only thing I am not impressed with is the snow skirt. It fits very loosely and is non-adjustable. I wear anywhere between 4-6 base-layers (depending on the weather) and the skirt still is not very snug. I'm thinking about stitching on some velcro so I can snug it up a bit. A very solid piece of skiing equipment at a reasonable price. A good value. ... show more

My man looks good in this so thank you ! Got jackets and pants for everyone to go to the snow this weekend, but he loves bundling up to go out for a smoke with it on already lol he says it's so comfy and warm and was surprised by all the pockets. I like that the pockets don't stand out too much, it makes the jacket look clean. For size reference: he usually wears size medium shirts, about 5'7" and 150+ lb. I just got this over the weekend, so I haven't used it much, but I've read many reviews of these types of jackets from China and I have to say this doesn't disappoint! It's better than I expected. If this had a Brand Name Logo on it like North Face or Columbia, I know it would list for $200 on up...and my Columbia equivalent I've had for a year was also made abroad so I think the only difference is logo because the quality is no different. I'm 6'2" and about 175 lbs. and the XL fit me perfect...it feels slightly fitted (not too baggy) and is long enough at the arms and waist. I got this as a gift for hunting and fishing so that it can get torn up, but already considering getting another because of the quality, price, and function ability of this jacket. ... show more

This is a perfect light winter coat. Has pockets everywhere, most of them zip closed and seal very well. It keeps me very warm when I'm out doing snow removal. Can't even notice the cold when I wear it under my coveralls. I'm just so impressed with it honestly, it's lightweight but breaks the wind very well, I wear it every day it's under 50 degrees Fahrenheit out. If you want a great, light, but warm and waterproof winter coat, this is it. I bought this coat it's a nice coat made well. Only thing is what ever size you were go 2 to 3 size bigger I bought a size XXL it fit like a medium so I had to send it back definitely mark wrong in sizes. Other than that a nice coat.
