I have been using this vanity mirror for a couple of years now and it works perfectly--haven't even changed a bulb! I have had a stand lighted, magnifying make-up mirror for year. I still use it, and it's great for makeup, but it didn't eliminate the need for a larger mirror for doing hair, and getting an overall appearance look. My vanity corner is too dark to use an unlighted mirror. Actually, this order was the second one. My housekeeper loved the mirror, and asked me to order one for her for her teenage daughters. But the thing I'm most impressed with, I had the mirror leaning up against the wall before we installed it (we went with the mounting option) and you'd think I would've been more careful considering it's a MIRROR, with multiple LIGHT BULBS - as soon as I walked out of the door, I heard it tip over onto the desk it was sitting on.
