Love how cool and comfortable these are. It's easy to find heavy, warm, waterproof work boots, but boy are those kind hot in summer! Not so easy to find durable, comfortable work boots that are cooler/breathable in warm weather. These fit the bill, and price is great. i'm on my second pair, wear them almost daily, and will do a third when these are too beat up to go on.

I purchased these boots because I wanted a pair of more lightweight and cooler wearing shoes than my other regular hiking boots (Merrell & Hi-Tec mid-tops). I wanted to use these while riding my motorcycle and doing some exploring this summer in the southern Arizona deserts (and yes, I live here & know the heat). I ended up returning these, but here are the pros and cons as I saw them: Pros: - Look nice. - Are lightweight. - The length fit true to size and was fine. Cons: - While the length was good, the rest of the boot was incredibly loose on my feet. It was as though they used the same last for the padded and unpadded versions of these boots, instead of reducing the size of the unpadded ones to accommodate for the volume of the missing padding. I added two additional insoles which sort of filled up the boot and kept my feet from floating around in there, but that still left an oversized shaft from the ankle up with no way to correct that. I could have tried using really thick socks, but that would have defeated the purpose of buying a lightweight, cool boot in the first place. The only other solution was to tighten the laces as much as possible, but even with the two sides drawn tight across the tongue and touching, my leg was still a bit loose in the shaft and would probably have led to discomfort after even short walks. - The boots were supposed to be breathable, but while unlined with padding they did have a sort of rubberized coating on the inside so I don't think they would breathe that well. I think the "thin fabric" unlined boot is a great idea, but I just don't think it was executed very well in this instance. In the end I decided to go with a different lightweight "tactical" boot.

I recently purchased a pair of shoes from Amazon for my aoudad hunting trip in Presidio, TX, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. These shoes were incredibly comfortable right from the start, and most importantly, I didn't get any blisters, which is a huge plus for me. During my trip, I walked miles and climbed rocks, and these shoes held up strong the entire time. They provided excellent support and durability, making my hunting experience much more enjoyable. If you're looking for reliable and comfortable footwear for outdoor adventures, I highly recommend these shoes. They exceeded my expectations in every way! ---

I'm an old soldier and was skeptical of this product but they looked good and were cheap so I decided to give them a try. WOW! These are not some cheap "walmart" shoe dressed up like a combat boot... these are REAL BOOTS! PROS: -Strong leather, good stitching -The tounge is stitched up high; on the range all day in sand & desert and nothing got in boot -Laces up like a real combat boot, high quality eyelets. -Lightest combat boot EVER! -Looks. It wears like a $200 boot CONS: -ZERO arch support. The footbeed is just soft foam. I replaced it with a quality footed and it's awesome now! -Sole. Good traction and comfortable but very light, soft material. You wouldn't want to step on a nail in these. -Break in time. Like all combat boots, these had a little break in time. I had heel slip the first time I wore them but the new footbeds and a little adjustment on the laces fixed the problem. Overall, FANTASTIC boot at a great price.

These boots look good and are pretty good quality. I wear a size 13, so I bought a 13. They are slightly big, but ok. I could have probably gone with a 12. The quality seems good. The top around the leg is a little big and the extra material seems to crinkle. Overall, these are decent boots for the price.
