  • Sturdy and well made
Also heavy duty. No installation instructions not even a picture but I got it mounted ok. It feel apart first time out. I had to buy longer SHCS (cap screws) coated them with spray paint for a thread locker and tightened as much as I dated. I substituted cheap screws with the SHCS screws and didn’t get the tight enough so the came loose and fell out after 2 hours. It’s a great cargo rack just be sure the screws are tight as possible ... show more

  • Great deal
So as I went to order this they asked me if I wanted a used one same shipping time less money I did that and it came it loose parts some of it already put together by someone and that's okay with me. Not a blemish on it. I got it to fit my 3" x 20" fat tire out of the box ima have to bend a bracket and use a cutting wheel to cut off some extra length of the silver rails cut peerly cosmetic and the supplied hardware thread was too small for my scrambler 100 ebike but it does fit and I'll just buy some new hardware or I think I got something I can make work. It was worth the risk it looks cool with my saddle bags ... show more

  • would be nice if it had instructions
would be nice if it had instructions, had to go by the picture in the ad, otherwise? a it fit with ease and is adjustable if you need to, seems sturdy enough but I added a few star washers

  • Rack seems decent, but installation was anything but
The main rack itself seems reasonably sturdy, and the angled chrome arms are fine. But it came with NO instructions or even photos (I had to look on the amazon page to infer various things), and it was missing several critical pieces of hardware. So I had to dig around in my decades-old toolbox and parts container to find some bolts long enough to mount the angled arms and their bracket, along with nuts (I ended up using wing nuts!). On my daughter's bike, a 3/4-size mountain bike, what would have been the mounting point on the rear fork was unusable because the rack would interfere with the brake cable/closure. I had to mount it farther up on the fork, using a bottom plate I added to hold it in place. All in all, extremely frustrating, and turned what should have been a 15-minute job into a 90-minute job trying various solutions to replace the missing hardware. Also, the mounting plate for a rear reflector was bent (I bent it back with pliers), a further indication of poor quality control. For now, seems ok for the intended purpose, but likely will not be durable over the long term. ... show more

  • Works well and holds more weight than expected!
This says it can hold 55lbs. That's quite a bit, but it's worth noting that, if the parts of your bike that you connect this to can handle it (and if you're okay with riding with it), you can probably get away with about 150 lbs. If you fasten a chair to it, you can carry a passenger.

  • No instructions
Didn't come with instructions. Bolt snapped in half while screwing into bicycle frame. I now have a bolt stuck in the rack installation hole that I can't remove.

  • great for college or work commute
first the main parts are all there but for the screws are lacking. Had to find the missing screws and bolts at a local department store. Has no instructions but follow the picture of the finish product. Easy to install. the only difference is to use your judgment to install on the bike seat and the frame. Other than that the difficulty is a 2 of 10. Overall sturdy, ... show more

  • Parts Missing
This rack seemed good, until I noticed there are not enough screws, nuts or washers to install in on my bike, this sucks!
