We have only had this assembled for two months and one of the steps broke in half today. It's noisy and unstable.

I truly appreciate all the reviews that were listed before I purchased this bed. And honestly, I was really hesitant to purchase the bed because of all the reviews that said it was extremely difficult to put together and parts of the instructions were wrong, etc. However, I decided to give it a shot and I’m glad I did. I wouldn’t have been successful without the previous reviews warning me of the challenges ahead. It took numerous hours over a few days to actually put the bed together because I had to do it in stages so I didn’t get too frustrated and break parts in my frustration. Also, know that you need to look at future steps before following the step your on in the directions. I actually found myself putting together the next step before putting together the step I was on, or putting them together at the same time. Just don’t follow the directions in exact order or you’ll make your life miserable and find yourself taking parts apart and redoing things. I truly hope this helps. It was well worth the struggles! But make sure you have at least one person helping with some of the steps! And be prepared to be patient and use problem solving skills! Good luck!

Finally got the opportunity to put this together for our granddaughters. With two people working at it, it took a little over two hours. There was a sizable dent in the "foot" of one of the uprights that caused a fair amount of paint to chip off, but we were able to massage the opening back into shape and get the endcap installed. The damage is the reason for "only" a 4-star rating. Still, once everything was together, we were both impressed with just how sturdy and stable it felt. We'll be sure and monitor the tightness of the bolts as time goes by, but as for now, the unit does seem very rigid. My granddaughters love it, and I'd have to say that I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a bunkbed this size.

We bought the queen over queen bunk bed to go in our guest room for when our kids and their spouses come home to visit. We specifically went with this set for the "600 pound weight limit on the top and bottom" The instructions ( which were fairly easy to follow and made assembly simple) however listed a different weight limit. They stated 300 pounds top bunk and 500 pounds bottom bunk. We weren't even sure in the beginning if we had the right bed though. The instructions said the top mattress was a full xl mattress and the bottom was a queen size mattress. The measurements for both spaces were the same however. Not really sure if this is a matter of re-using their instruction manuals (with poor editing) or false advertising on Amazon. We decided to keep the bed since it is only a guest bed but if you are banking on that 600 pound weight limit - look elsewhere

I combined this together with a super soft brand new mattress and fell in love immediately!! It bodes well with my red and black theme in my bedroom! Highly recommend this product! Solid!!I would recommend bunk bed if you are looking to get a great bedframe at a great price. Aesthetically, it is simple and modern, overall no complaints. Putting it together was simple I dod it by myself, but worth it.. I absolutely love it, it's sturdy.The value of it is great. It's so quiet not a metal rubbing. Quite sturdy. Easy to follow directions. Took 2 of us about 2 hrs from open box to completion.Very nice bed.
