After I finally got it together it works GREAT for my son to unleash the ball from the T without taking out windows. The bad part was trying to put it together.. The smart build are the poles are kept together by an elastic rope, which should make it easier to put together. Maybe it was me.. I don't know.. but.. it was a PIA to get the pole through both ends of the net. The next struggle, again, maybe it was me, was attaching both poles to the 90 degree angle post holder.. to a point where it "owned me" in a very tender spot (slipped out of my hand" There is an additional 12" pole which I think can be added once the net is assembled and stretched out.. but.. I have not seen the need for it. I have not put on the long Velcro black tape which goes from corner to corner yet.. it seems to be fine without it. IF you need to travel with this net, you will need to be able to add and remove the posts from the 90 degree attachment's every time. The Pro - PERECT for the back yard when there are noting but windows. I have tried it (47 yrs old, 6'4" 280) and my son (6.5 yrs old 50" tall) and it works GREAT for all levels (adult & youth). The stakes are easy to use and NEEDED.. will blow away on a nice windy day. The Con. - Wear a cup when assembling and have patience.. maybe a second person to help feed it through.

This thing is a train wreck. Out of the box it doesn't look intimidating to put together.... Well it is. The poles are a disaster and the net is week. After finally getting it together with sucking up my pride and getting help. My son loved it, no more chasing down balls. Well when he was done the nightmare started. As much of a pain it was to get together the dismantling was worse. The net ripped and the string that holds the polls together tore so rendering useless. Please don't buy this, buy another type as I am. I am ordering the powenet 7x7 which seems to be a much better tool .

It was difficult to assemble, but I'm happy with it. I bought the net with the intention of using it inside and would not being able to mount it to the ground. I am really impressed with how little it moves when baseballs are hit into it.

For the cost and portability this is nice, but for my needs, I would have rather paid a bit more and gotten something more stable. It handles the needs of young kids with soccer, baseball, and lacrosse, but a decent wind will make it unusable and will often fold it over despite staking.

I love this net for helping my son's practice batting for tball. The net is easy to set up and take down, has a nice carrying bag and it is bigger than I thought it would be, which is also nice. I've used it a couple of times and had no problems so far.

There's a reason this thing Is cheaper than everything else...It's trash...instructions trash.... flimsy as trash.... takes 2 people but doesn't say that ...trash.... breaks easily...trash Free returns Gold! That's where the one star comes from or it would be zero

The net itself I have no issues with. I do however with the instructions and the set up in general. Do yourself a favor. Get a partner. This in my opinion takes at least 2 people. 1: slide 1 pole through the bottom of net (the part that has the blk loop in the middle of it), 2: attach the L bracket, 3: slide the ATTACHED SMALL VELCRO through the L bracket and tighten (trust me it will make it easier), 4: slide the 2nd pole through the upper portion, 5: attach to the L bracket (this is where having a 2nd or even 3rd person helps) *it will be a little tight but it will go*. Doing it this way was a lot easier than trying to do it the way of instructions where 3 of us got so frustrated that we walked away. After studying images I went back and we had it assembled within 10 minutes doing it my way.

I use this in conjunction with practice balls to limit how far the balls will go. hold up very well in wind as long as you anchor it, not flimsy and does exactly what it was designed to do. stop the balls. would definitely recommend this for coaches who want to do some training to work on a numerous types of sports.
