Description

The Torrent is built to maximize cooling potential straight out of the box. Main standouts include a brand-new component layout, the open front grille and five included fans – two of which are our 180 x 38 mm Dynamic PWM or Prisma RGB fans custom-made to achieve maximum air cooling while maintaining controlled noise levels. Enabling excellent cooling performance (with or without water-loops), the Torrent is a perfect fit for high-end users who want a case that can keep up with an ever-expanding market of hardware upgrades.

  • Great case
Color: RGB White - Clear tint
Pros: - The airflow is very efficient, and you don't need an exhaust fan. Keeps a 4090 very cool during resource intensive tasks. - Air is vented only in the back. Very useful for controlling where the hot air will go, allowing for me to vent it directly outside - High quality fans capable of moving a lot of air with little power - PSU on the top, allowing more efficient air pulling from the bottom - Very easy to build - Fits a 4090 perfectly. Power cord isn't even touching the glass Cons: - Far too expensive. - GPU holder isn't customizable enough. Wasn't able to use it with my 4090 due to the dimensions of it - HUGE CASE. Wasn't expecting this large of a case given it's a mid tower - I wish there was latches, or something more secure holding the panels together. All you've got is hidden screws to better secure the sides, which are tedious to remove - No USB 2.0 slots on the case. I prefer cases with 2 3.0's and 2 2.0's All in all, it's a 5 star case. May be a lot of cons, but compared to other cases it's a whole different animal. Very rare to see top mounted PSU's, but here we are. It's also a very heavy case which helps balance the top heavy PSU ... show more

  • Great airflow out of the box, top mounted PSU!
Color: RGB White - Clear tint
This chassis is fantastic if you're looking for high airflow out of the box. This case has 3 140 mm intake fans on the bottom, and 2 180 mm on the front; this enables enough positive pressure to push all the hot air out the back without any exhaust fans. An added perk of the large fans over other cases is that they can run at low RPM and push the same or more air, but quieter. I was surprised how silent this case was versus my last build. I have to take a star away from an otherwise perfect rating as the bottom rear fan was rubbing against the dust filter below it causing it to make a loud clicking sound. Just be advised that you may have to install additional anti-vibration pads to elevate the fans higher, so they don't make contact with the dust filter. ... show more

  • Favorite Case
Color: RGB White - Clear tint
This is my favorite case to have built in. It's aesthetically beautiful, the airflow is phenomenal, the build quality is very high and the layout is nice. I bought it for the airflow, but love everything else about it. Like any PC chassis, it's worth waiting for sales if you can. This one offered the best build experience I've had yet. ... show more

  • LARGE tower with plenty of space.
Color: RGB White - Clear tint
So I was shocked when this package arrived because I was expecting a dell PC, but once all the parts started arriving, I quickly realized it was going to be bigger than expected. This is my first PC that I've custom built and I love this case! There is plenty of room inside for everything you need and lots of hidden compartments so you see very minimal wires and only the cool RGB pieces! ... show more

  • Impressive cooling
Color: RGB White - Clear tint
Expensive case, took forever to put together, the manual sucks, the RGB is a nuisance, but the incredible and amazing cooling this thing has makes up for all that and more. Cranking a 4090 at maximum power on the highest settings in the most demanding games at 4k resolution and there's literally just fresh cool air blowing out of my PC. Amazing. Had to get this to replace my Fractal Pop Silent which was basically cooking my entire PC from heat. ... show more

  • Love the case - but here are some of the quirks!
Color: RGB White - Clear tint
I'm posting this review from the POV as a regular user, not a PC builder. I'll start with the cons specific to the case that impact my daily use. - The side compartment which houses the drives is too narrow. The metal side too easily pops off by itself & there's no locking mechanism. There's no way you will be to fill out all those drive bays, because the amount of wires required will make you unable to close the case. I went with 2 high-capacity drives, as 3 was already pushing it. Not only that, but the spacing of the bays will make it difficult for your PSU cables to power them without enlisting the help of extra wires. - The bottom fans (you get 3 of those) are nowhere near as silent as the large front fans. You would think the big front fans would be the noisy ones, but they elegantly push a lot of air at lower RPMs. I had to use a much gentler fan curve (BIOS-set) for the bottom fans as they made an annoying noise above 1100 RPM for me. - The front & top are made of plastic. I have nothing against the material, but I already see small chips in the plastic connectors just from opening & closing the case. Be careful with it. - Due to the material choices, lifting the case to move it is a little scary. There are very few places to get a good grip (the bottom of the case houses the mesh net & fans). You also can't grab the plastic front. - The optional GPU bracket is tricky to put on. If you have a chonky card like the 4090, you need it on, or else it will crack. Because the default case fans are at the bottom, the bracket has to be attached to the other side of the case that houses the drives. I found that enlisting a 2nd person helped a lot. - Cleaning both dust filters requires you to remove the front of the case. It's not too bad, just slightly less convenient than if you could just slide them out. Otherwise, it's the coolest (literal) case on the market & perfect for air cooling. The PSU being at the top is also interesting. The PSU fans face into the case & pull air from the inside. It's also much more convenient to plug & unplug cords with it so accessible. I was coming from a smaller Lian Li case & didn't feel this was too big like others did (especially with a 4090). It was still pretty difficult to find space to plug & unplug things inside. Once you get the components physically set up in the case, it should be smooth sailing! ... show more

  • Big
Color: RGB White - Clear tint
It's very large but I like it. Be aware that it's best for air cooling. If you want to water cool and keep the big fans (a must) you are pretty limited. Watch gamer nexus video for the only water cooling layout I'd recommend. I just went for air for now though.
