Great Huge Net! I lost the exact same model when someone on my boat knocked it over. I'm going to add external floatation (swimming noodle or similar) to keep it afloat if that happens again! I had the same model for 3 years, and never lost a fish while netting - it's really too big to lose a fish, but also to big to single-handle. We've used if for large salmon (20-30 pounds and over 36 inches) and halibut (up to 20 pounds). The fish look small in the net! ... show more

Very satisfied with the craftsmanship and size. It will be peferct for everything from pan fish to very big Pike and Musky. I would not want any smaller or any larger- I looked at a lot of them and put my hands on many before buying this Frabill.

    • The handle grip wants to slide off when wet.

The product seems to be made well and worked well. The only problem is the plastic had grip is slippery and also wants to slide off of the net handle. I drilled a hole through the grip to match the hole in the handle. I tied a very short landyrd through the handle to hold it on. I also put electrical tape on the open end of the grip for more strength. ... show more

We love this net. Not too too huge but big enough for big fish. We fish for musky and this is a good size for the majority of muskies caught. It should work for the monster we all hope to catch!
