I'm really impressed with this net. The steel ring that the net is attached to is nice and thick. This is important so that the hoop won't flex and collapse when lifting a heavy fish. It also makes the net sink quickly which facilitates getting a fish into the net quickly. The net is more than deep enough for a fairly large fish. I've used it to bring up a four foot shark with no problems. The rope is a standard yellow polyethylene. It's plenty strong enough to do the job as is the net. As with any net, if you rinse it with fresh water and store it out of the heat, it will last a long time. Overall I'm surprised at the quality versus the price and I would recommend it. ... show more

No more chasing fish or waiting for the live well to drain to grab out the spiky floppy demons, just net them out with ease. Nice square end run along the bottom of the live well and not too big of hoop to have fitment issues but deep enough net to still scoop out the large walleyes.

I use this to get bass out of my live well instead of stressful culling. Works awesome! I can grab 3 at a time right into weigh bag. I only have it 4 stars because after using, the material the net is made out of holds fish smell like crazy! Smelled up my whole truck. I tried washing and it still smelled. Needs like a PVC coating. Bottom line I still love it ... show more

Works great for bridges and piers. Tie whatever length rope you need to it, and you drop it down as far as necessary to net those fish. Simple but effective.

    • Great net that stows nicely
Overall this is a great net. It has its pluses and minuses but I really like it. What I like: It saves space. I can sore this in my rod locker on my bass boat and it takes up basically no space. The days of dealing with a giant net on the deck of my boat are over. There are folding nets that I can put in my rod locker but the net is exposed and they get tangled on baits still attached to my rods. The net on the Hiber Net tucks safely away into the handle were it can't get tangled. Also, it is quick to deploy. What I don't like: It does not have a rubber tangle free net. It is a cloth/nylon type net that will snag your hooks every time you land a fish. There is also the possibility of it getting stuck while opening or closing the net but I have not experienced this yet. For me this net is great and I'm really satisfied with it.     • Durable as a fishing net
Color: Multi Style: 24" Fixed - 12" Round Hoop
Definitely more durable than the $15-20 nets on here. I miss the adjustable handle, but the net is pretty no-tear. I'd say it's worth the extra 10 bucks. It doubles as a fishing net so the kids can catch tadpoles and turtles while at the lake.
