This is the best soil I've ever used. It smells like the island I grew up on .There's no gnats ever, so I don't need to put boiling water on it like it do other soils. I start my seeds in this, and there is enough nutrition to get them all the way until I transplant them - no matter what kind of plant it is. My greens loves, it, the tomatoes love it. I have used Fox Farm Potting soil before and it is really good potting soil... I guess I was unable to visualize the size of the bag....12 quarts did not seem to go as far as I thought it would for the money. Next time I will mix it with another product to stretch it out a bit.
