Big fan of this helmet. It's replacing a TLD helmet with similar specs and price, and for my money the Fox is way superior. Pros: Fit - it just fits my head better than TLD, which seems to fit a more round head vs my narrow but deep noggin. No more sliding around over my eyes! Sweat Management - I sweat a ton and wear sunglasses most of the time. In hot weather, the sweat would rain down the front of my TLD, fogging my glasses in no time. Today in HUMID conditions, the Fox some how diverted a ton of sweat away from my glasses. Neutral Weight - not a huge weight difference Back of head protection - TLD offers more (as do other Fox models Ventilation - similar to TLD, maybe slightly better ... show more

    • Good product but old stock
Love the product itself, however they are selling stock that is almost 4 years old. That makes for a very expensive helmet that won’t last long considering the recommendation is to replace helmets 3-5 years from date of production.

My son loves the look and feel of this helmet. Due to growth spurts and crashes, he has purchased several as he's gotten older and he always sticks with this one. Reliable, comfortable and well-made.

    • Air flow slots for cooling!
One of the reasons I bought this was that there are large slots in the front of the helmet to allow air to cool your head as you ride during hot days and I can tell you that it works. The chinstrap is super easy to get on and off too, which is great!

    • A better alternative to the XL POC Kortal
I first tried the POC Kortal Race MIPS XL which is $100 more than this. While a great looking helmet, the POC was comically large even though I’m used to bulky helmets in the size I need. This Fox one offers great protection and is much more streamline. In all honesty it’s 95% as comfortable as the POC as well. If you need a larger helmet go with this. ... show more
