My cat absolutely loved this and she is extremely picky about anything "designed for cats". She sat right next to me while I assembled it and promptly laid down as soon as it was fully assembled. I like the product, however I'm only giving 4 stars because my cats aren't too excited about it. It was very easy to put together with not a lot of parts. The illustrations were quite simple to follow, with not a lot of steps. The hardest part was stretching the top bed to fit, but it did eventually go on after a few tries. It was the easiest cat trees I've ever put together in my over-20 years of own cats. It looks great and seems sufficient for my 2 nine year old cats, however, they have yet to scratch on the posts and only one of them has gotten up on the top seat to look out of their favorite window. No one has gotten on the bottom seat yet. I bought this to replace a 5 year old cat tree that was falling apart and only had 1 seat and 2 cubbies. I think this is a decent sized product for rather large cats (my 2 are 12lbs and 16 lbs!) and there are 2 nice sized scratching posts. There isn't a lot of padding on the beds, but the fabric covering and top cushioning is soft. It seems stable, sturdy, and not likely to tip over, even thoughbI do not have it fastened to the wall, as I don't feel it's necessary for mine. Others may want to do it for younger, more rambunctious cats. The strap comes already attached to the cat tree, so it should be easy to use if you choose to. It came with 2 toys to attach in different places, plus one extra replacement, which I thought was a nice bonus. My cats have yet to play with either of the toys though. I like it more than they do, apparently. I don't think they hate it, but maybe they are just miss their old one, and as time goes on they will start to enjoy it more. Luckily they have another separate scratching post they can use for their claws in the meantime. I'm pleased with my purchase at this point. ... show more

The quality of the product I would say is pretty good, and I definitely did good good value for what I spent on this product. I will say it is stable, but some of the instructions were a little confusing and it took me about 20 extra minutes to figure out where I had gone wrong With screwing the scratching post into the hideout area but after careful examination and looking over the papers again I figured it out lol he has loved it ever since I brought it home and he loves to hide in it and play he gets so happy when he sees his cat tree because he knows There’s usually some treats in there waiting for him and guaranteed a quiet place for a nap ... show more
