This is a very well made glider! The cushions are well stitched and fit the chair perfectly; the color is as shown in the images. The seat cushion is a little hard for a new mother's bottom, but it felt very comfortable to me. (I purchased a gel cushion for my daughter, for now!) The arms are a great height to rest on while feeding the baby, and it glides so smoothly and easily! The only problem we had was the seat back height. My daughter is very tall, and we couldn't find a ready made glider with a tall enough back! This problem was easily solved. Because of its very sturdy construction, her dad added taller supports, inside the chairs back supports and shaped a nice piece of wood to echo the chair tops curve. The only thing left is for me to make a cushion for the top, but until then, they have a few pillows that fit well enough! My husband was very impressed with the sturdiness of the construction of this chair! And one very nice extra, you can buy replacement cushions for the glider! I purchased an extra set, so if the baby spits up all over the cushions, they only have to pull out the spares, so they can continue to use the glider until the first set of covers are washed! ... show more

Purchased 2 chairs for a church nursery. Very sturdy well built frames, easy to assemble. Color true to picture, fabric is soft. One small complaint would be the cushion on the seat is FIRM. Very firm. You are not going to sink into this chair, you "plop" on this chair. Maybe it will soften over time? Otherwise, well constructed chairs and we are happy with them. ... show more

Understand that Foundations is a company that primarily makes things for institutions -- day care centers, etc., so it's going to be better built than the rockers intended for homes. It seems to be very well made and seems like it will hold up very well. My cons would be as follows: 1) To assemble, you need to line up multiple bolts, going in different pieces of wood, in different directions, exactly -- the bolt heads need to inset into small, shallow holes in the wood. Hard to do. Requires two sets of hands. Probably would be easier if the hole insets we just a bit larger. 2) Could be packaged better. It's heavy, comes in box too large to fit your arms around -- again, you need two people. If they put handle cutouts in the box (like the old computer monitor boxes), it would be much easier. And -- this is important -- the cushion is in the very top of the box, with nothing protecting it. If you're not careful, you could easily slice it while opening the box with a box cutter. And to confirm what other people are saying, the cushions are very firm -- but if they are too firm for your heiny, you can just replace them. ... show more

After unpacking the chair , I discovered the hardware to assemble the back and two arm rests was missing. A call to customer support resulted in the manufacture agreeing to send me the missing items in "2 to 3 business days." The women I talked to at their customer service number acted as if I was asking for a special favor and could care less the parts were missing. That was over a week ago and I have not recieved anything! Very poor experience with this chair purchase!!! ... show more

I bought this chair for my brother who lives in a group home. It is extremely comfortable and safe from tipping over. The vinyl seating and arm rests are super easy to clean. We have received numerous comments on how nice it is. Can't comment on durability yet, but hopes are high.

My son weighs 225 pounds and he has special needs that include rocking in a glider rocker every day into the evening. So needless to say he has worn out more than 5 different glider chairs and a few of the companies have discontinued making that style of chair. When I found this Foundations Glider Rocker I was delighted and ordered it. It arrived intact in 2 pieces and assembly was straight forward. My son loves the chair and when asked he gives it a thumbs up. Time will tell about the sturdiness and life span but for now we are thrilled. ... show more
