It's a beautiful watch and I'm very happy with it, but I would like to point out a couple things. First, from the pictures, the black band appears to have a matte finish - which is what I wanted. It's not matte, it's shiny. Second, the little box for the date (just above the "VI") is so incredibly teeny-tiny such that it's impossible to read. I don't know why it's even there.
