Ok so as a person who does vinyl wrapping, mirrors always gave me trouble. I understand that it’s a simple matter of putting the tension in the right place but it’s a headache. They take a while because you need to put the tension across while not having tension on the edges. This is a tricky task. Normally taking 30 or more minutes depending on the vehicle and mirror. Having said that, with this tool… and a complex mirror like this 2022 Audi S4, it was done in under 10min. The key to this tool is to place the vinyl on the tool and secure it. (Heat the edges of the vinyl onto the tool, squeegee it to the tool so it’s on there hood, this part is so important!). Once the vinyl is heated onto the edges and it’s set, we then heat the vinyl so it’s soft. Once it’s good and soft hook the mirror and pull it across the face of the mirror. Then it’s just a matter of finishing the edges and trimming. In any case just buy it. You won’t be sorry! ... show more

CONCEPT IS GREAT BUT ITS JUST A PIECE OF 3/4” PLYWOOD. NOT WORTH 50$. I HAVE SCRAP PIECES OF THE SAME PLYWOOD BIGGER THAN THIS. JUST MAKE YOUR OWN. OR JUST BUY A WHOLE SHEET OF PLYWOOD FOR 30 BUCKS AND CUT A BUNCH, ALL DIFFERENT SIZES

Great tool when it works, but the paint failed on the second use. Leaving behind paint on the back of the vinyl film. Not sure I would recommend.

I love the idea of this for wrapping car mirrors but the vinyl would stay stuck to the tool making it hard to use.
