I'm not a professional hair cutter, I just like to be able to do some easy trimming once in a while, and these scissors are just what I need. These pictures, description and measurements of these scissors are helpful, accurate and complete, so I won't bother to repeat them. I tried out the rubber inserts that fit into the finger holes - they were easy to insert and to pull back out, as desired. For me, with the inserts "in," the finger holes were slightly too small, so I prefer them to be "out." But I can see if someone had small hands, and / or just liked having a slight bit of "grip" on these scissors, these inserts could be quite helpful. These scissors come with a thin, black "fake leather" case that closes with a metal snap in the front of the case. The case helps protect the scissors from damage from being dropped, or from being smacked around in a drawer with other metal objects and tools. They are finished in an attractive flat black color. The Seller included a business card sized insert inside of the packaging with an email address to be able to contact them directly with questions or concerns, rather than making us dig that information out of the Amazon listing. At the listed price for these scissors right now - $5.99 - these scissors seem like a great deal to me. I do have to wonder how long the attractive finish ... or especially the sharp edges of these scissors will last. I'll probably never find out, as minimal an amount of hair cutting as I do. Hopefully other more professional scissors users will be able to provide that information, as well as what it takes to sharpen these scissors, as necessary. ... show more
